Pretty neat and is said to be rare (not sure if it really is or not).
Had a quick look on AH and saw one selling for 100k.
At 100K I’d sell it.
Selling for about 40K on my realm. I’ll still sell it, just deciding if to do it now or put it up after pre-patch ends when it is rarer.

It depends. If they buff the drop rate in the last week, their value will drop. If not, their value will increase eventually since nobody will ever be able to farm them again.
Earlier there were 70+ on the AH on Illidan for 30-40k. I’d guess if there’s no sign that the drop rate will go up (or spawn rate of rares), people will start buying a bunch of them at the lower price, speculating that the price will eventually go up.
Haunted Mementos on the other hand spiked from like 70k or so to now being at like 500k+. I don’t know that anyone is actually buying them at that price, but people started posting them that high (maybe seeing if people want matching sets).

On my server it’s going for 35k. The price will probably go up substantially from expansion to expansion, as it is very unique, will be in high demand, is rare and obtained within a limited time.

You might be able to recover it, or talk to a GM and see if they can. It’s worth a shot.

Im reading a lot about these things what do they do? Why are people going crazy to get one ?
sell it after the event ends, the longer you wait the more it will be worth

so it works like the cursed momento, its a special companion pet you can only get if you have that item in your inventory and you can never get one again after the event ends

Keep one (I really regret selling my haunted memento ages ago).
Bought one to sell at a higher price later. The price will skyrocket

Keep it, you will have something to remember the event with. I still have my haunted memento and could easily sell it, I see them listed on the AH for 2 million gold now but gold is practically worthless in this game now.
Really, 100k gold is practically worthless now. In another ten years, it will be gone, but the keepsake will still be in your bank and worth a lot more regardless.
