It was supposed to be a major feature of this xpac and we’re still waiting. So many old things are locked behind rep that would be fun to do but you can’t do them. Prime example being class hall questlines. I don’t want to play Legion over again just for a title.
Its already a thing?
I don’t think the Legion class halls were tied to particular reps.
I think the request is for pre-DF reps
Allegedly they were going to work backwards from the newest to oldest. Since there’s certainly nobody whose sole job is reputations, that means it’ll happen gradually whenever someone who knows the old + new systems has spare time.
So, years. If it even gets done before everyone with knowledge of both old & new gets laid off.
They will be working backwards with most, but not all reps going to be account wide (DF Furbolgs, Aldor/Scryers, Steamweedle/Bloodsail, Oracles/Frenzyheart are probably not going to be account wide). We don’t know when that will happen, I imagine that they will add in the SL reps somewhat soon.
As for Class Halls, while there are a few that are associated with reputations (famously there was a player who couldn’t do the druid class hall intro because he killed so many Cenarion Circle guards) I don’t recall there being any designed to include a rep grind as part of the class hall campaign.
Where is the source? Is there any timeframe?
I can’t unlock world quests because you need the Unite the Isle quest. You need friendly with all 5 reps to do it. The 10 WQ is part of the class hall questline. So I’m kinda bummed.
This shouldn’t be the case, I believe in 7.1 they changed this for alts such that once you’ve done the quest once, the rep is no longer needed on alts and you should be able to immediately turn it in with Kadghar.
THey said only TWW and DF for now and would be looking into other expansion reps in the future.
They never said in the near future.

Scroll down to Warband Wide Reputation:
“Additionally, converting reputations in previous expansions will take some time to implement, so it will happen over time. A limited number won’t be converted; for example, Aldor and Scryer in the Burning Crusade and the Covenants in Shadowlands won’t be converted because they represent per-character choices.”
So it’s planned but no timeline.
Though if you had of looked at the 20th Celebration and used some of the badges wisely. You would have noticed that because the time warp badges were ‘warbound transferable’. I finished off the Hydraxian Waterlords for example like this, and I am fairly sure all my characters got it (though I would have to go back and check), though like normal they all got the achievement. Which normally like the old troll warlords (which I cannot remember the name now - I am sure someone will point out) the one who completes it (as in character) gets the achievement. Though, that has also appeared on all my characters as well (that was already finished before warbands though). So, it seems some of the lesser factions may have had it tweaked already, but the larger ones, where more data and players are involved. Plus, the combining of a player overall experience (if they go that way, as it may seem fairer), could take a considerable time to both tabulate and power to convert. It’s not just a simple click the mouse button three times and we are in Southshore. The latest ones are much easier too because they also have less data than previous expansions as just said they have been around longer. Which, going to Specsavers also is not going to fix. So just be patient for the rest, it’s not like going to the coffee shop and asking for a latte and avocado on toast.
No they won’t. Highest character on the account becomes the warband value, no addition. It will never be combined because that means that the way to hit exalted on everything is to do easy intro quests on multiple characters and skip any grindy part.
The work is in combing through quests to make sure they are properly flagged as warband-complete. MAYBE sharing credit if the highest-rep character hasn’t completed some of those quests, or they could just as easily skip that and no one will know.
For what reason do you need account wide pre DF ? Just for what are you going to use rep for on a multiple toons
Class Hall questlines. It’s also annoying that I did everything on a hunter in Legion, I started another hunter. I have the account wide mount and transmog, but no title, and would have to do the questline over. You need legion rep to open world quests and you need the WQ to complete the class hall questline
I mean old content, is not a priority for Blizz specially for small things that dont even effect the game play
Yes, I was just suggesting some of the possible complications involved. Though not all. In why it would take time to do it.
I think there, you are asking more for the skips in the questlines to be added like in other parts of the game from what I can get what you are saying. I am sure they will. Or you need to put a ‘more direct’ statement in your topic and say why and whom it would benefit. Because your topic and the one you are now saying are two different things.
Sure, a skip would be great, but I kinda expected account wide reps considering it was a selling point of the xpac. Except for some of the grindy reps like the Owlbeast guys. But zone reps? Yeah, they should be account wide.
Nothing to do in the game while we wait for next patch, fun to go through old content. Everything with Legion is always some special snowflake thing. It took them 8 years to make the raids soloable.
So don’t? The class halls are very specific, wouldn’t make sense for me to have the warrior title just because I got Farseer.
Suck it up and earn your title.
