Well I restored my deleted character which was said human paladin who had the title cause i was flaunting it for awhile and bragging about it around moonguard goldshire. The title is gone even though that was the title she wore before she was deleted in shadowlands (deleted a lot of characters in shadowlands as i didn’t think i was coming back). Kinda of sad to see it go but tbh with War Bands and cross faction / cross realm everything i honestly don’t need 2 of the same class anymore. So I either had a bug that allowed me to wear the title on a different character that they eventually fixed or it was a feature they removed at some point. And yeah the duelist / rival pvp titles go away as i have the achievements in feat of strength that are completed by this very paladin but this very paladin has no access to those titles either.

Weird, same class and the title still isn’t account-wide.
I’ve got 3 Mistwalkers that use the title, and 5 sets of the armour. The armour is locked behind class of course (they were class sets so it makes sense), and the titles are character specific. Even if I make another Dwarf Shaman, it won’t be able to use the title.
Meanwhile, I only had 5 Rival/2 titles Shadowlands (across all seasons), but any characters of those armour classes can still use the elite sets. My warrior can use the (non paladin class set, IE Nathria, but NOT the black sepulcher version) armour, but could never don the titles, as those are character specific per season.
The Archaeology title Headmistress is also character locked, or was for me, although last I checked it was still bugged on the one character I completed it on (it disappeared one day).
Most other “kinda” prestigious titles are all account wide. Undying/Hand, etc.
Lots of rules and exceptions here and there. The system could use a bit of an update, but I doubt they could make everyone happy.
Yeah, Death’s Demise and Immortal being account-wide is another thing.
yup this proves me wrong right here. I will tell you with absolute certainty that my female paladin had the title even though she didn’t do the content, but restoring it now / deleting her in SL , she lost the title. So bug or removed feature i had it for a short while on characters it didn’t belong on.
I’d be cool with account wide vanilla rank and/or RBG titles being acct wide or at least same-class-alt-wide. I don’t see myself ever doing those grinds in the future but would be fun to add a “General Tso” or whatever alt on a new-to-me server.

I find it odd that i had the Knight title on an old vanilla toon but i can only use it on that character, also, i had to earn the other titles leading up to knight as well, but i never got to keep them? 
Yep… if you ever want to be “Private Parts” you’ll have to do it in RBG (with RBG titles you can use all those leading up to your pinnacle rank) so I’ve had to settle for “Salty Parts”. Suppose I need to get back in there and do an RBG or two. /sigh
