Account wide Mythic Raid Dinars?

Any chance they can change the mythic bosses restrictions from being character exclusive to account wide?
Like im raiding with my priest but if i want to play an alt and i want an item from Gally lets say, i should be able to buy it with dinars since i killed it with my main.
At where the system is at the moment, it makes sense that you need to kill the boss you want the item from right… But its unrealistic to ask that for every possible character you want to play if you already beat that boss.

Pretty sure putting a boss kill restriction on myth track items is intended to stop some newly dinged level 80 from killing 4 LFR bosses and grabbing their myth-track Jastor Diamond.
The same logic applies to a CE raider’s new alt.

It’s only fair after all if you want the item kill the content, that’s what y’all wanted right? :innocent:

No. No. Definitely No. Infinitely No.

Too many elitist Mythic raiders came to the forums saying, “if you haven’t killed the Mythic boss, then you don’t get free Mythic loot.”

Sticking to their comments, if you do not kill the Mythic boss on that character you do not deserve free mythic loot on any character than what you killed the Mythic boss on. This is bad luck protection not free loot.

No double standards, Devs cannot have Dinar hurt the majority of the community but benefit the slimmest of player base in all ways.

I’m sure there will be some loophole for mythic tryhard raiders to exploit that they’ll discover shortly where Blizzard will then fix so the unwashed masses don’t benefit while their “secret” treasured children can/will.

Just like there always is.

I hope it comes with a ban if they do.

Sadly it’s now too late to change the system unless they create a dinar refund trade-in system.

I was hoping they’d at least buff the dungeon trinkets so more than 1 was a contender at mythic level for healers over hero level raid items.

It’s a bad luck protection system. What bad luck did you have with your alt, if you never attempted it once?

You’ll almost certainly be very disappointed if you keep that hope. These players literally have backdoor access to the devs themselves and them/their orgs are deep in bed with Blizzard leadership. Heck their own ex president was a mythic tryhard raider carry/boost seller if I recall.

I think among the worst I remember was when tryhards exploted the newly created LFR back in Cata to exploit trading gear…a bug that was intentionally discovered on the PTR and kept hush hush which CLEARLY should’ve led to perma bans instead got people 8 day bans on a Monday so they effectively lose a week of prog…and I don’t remember if gear was wiped or not (prob not).

But hey I’m sure it was an accident. It was definitely clearly intended to pull and drop/hearth out of a raid (and maybe going offline) which still let you be eligible for the gear to be traded but not lock you out allowing you to go and try again until you got your tier. Totes normal behavior that clearly could be normal gameplay.

Out of curiosity, if you have cleared the full mythic raid once, can you just kill LFR bosses then each week to qualify for the dinars? Seems a bit silly if so. Should have to clear mythic quality raid bosses x4 to get the dinar each week if you want to spend them on mythic raid loot.

I’m happy with this. Just the sheer amount of freedom to not bother on alts is great.

Yeah it would be nice if the requirements for the Myth items were account wide. If you complete all 12s in M+, allow alts to purchase the M+ Myth items. Having to get nearly 3k io on every alt to be able to buy one trinket on an alt is just wild, but it is Blizzard.
