I'm not here to complain about the inability, rather, I'd like to continue this feedback discussion in light of changes that came with 7.2. There have been numerous posts in the past with an overall agreement from both PvE and PvP players that this restriction is unnecessary, and that Gladiators do deserve to use their hard earned mounts, account wide.
Quick call out - The rarest mount and title in game, is account wide. (Scarab Lord title/mount). This alone in my opinion justifies a change for all mounts and titles to be account wide.
Now I can imagine asking for a temporary seasonal title to be account wide is asking too much, because it may work in a unique way in comparison to other titles. The title only last one season, and we get an achievement noting our accomplishment, so it's really a minor thing with the title, however the mount is forever, and many of us would basically not ride any other mount if allowed to ride these account wide.
Why I brought up 7.2 changes? VICIOUS MOUNTS ARE NOW ACCOUNT WIDE!
Feel free to check, as I was gleaming with joy with this change, and I greatly appreciate Blizzard obviously hearing the feedback on this and making a change that both Mount collectors and PvPers can enjoy.
So without further ado,
Please Blizzard, make the final change to make Gladiator mounts account wide. Thank you!
I think its time Blizzard completely ended their double standards when it comes to PvP and PvE mounts. Vicious mounts were a good start but it should have included Gladiator mounts too, i feel sorry for people who have the mounts from previous seasons feeling like they're trapped on old mains because they don't want to leave anything behind.
I have an insane amount of old raid mounts and they all move with me on any old crappy alt i play.

I don't PvP. I hate PvP. But I have a serious amount of respect for those that do, because I personally do not have the reflexes or smarts for such things. All you PvPers would hand me my butt in 1 second flat, no joke. And y'all impress the heck out of me.
The fact that these PvP mounts aren't account wide is the silliest thing I have heard in a while. And it's 7.2, so I've heard some pretty profound insanity the past couple weeks. It doesn't make logical sense and should be changed immediately.

I completely agree with this topic. feels horrible not being able to use my hard earned Gladiator mounts on my alts, and feels even worse not being able to PvP with alts (because of AP gate etc etc, but this is another discussion entirely)
I don't see myself as a hardcore PvP player, but rather as an achievement-hunter thats also in love with WoW's PvP system (see: my favorite title being Battlemaster). I played my !@# off to get gladiator purely for the asthetic side of things(beautiful mounts). The removal of 2v2 and 5v5 (reducing gladiator titles given per season by more than half) and the strictness of the PvP mounts really feel like they put a barrier in PvP participation growth.

While i 100% agree with the theme of the topic i can assure you that PvP mount restrictions have very little to do with PvP participation. As i said earlier i fully believe Blizzard should end this silly double standard but for me personally its the actual PvPers that turn me off PvP lol

the strickness of the mounts aren't really a turnoff for pvp participation, but the lack of rewards (titles/mounts) in 2v2 (which is still more popular than 3v3) is indeed a reason. If people would feel like they could work towards something in 2v2 (which is a lot more acessible than 3v3, lets face it) they'd feel more inclined to get better at PvP and enjoy it further, even venturing in RBGs and 3v3s.
Ill take it a step further and suggest that Gladiator's are given a Gladiator Saddle where they can buy past season mounts ...
Sorry I don't agree with this....you should only be able to use those mounts on toon you did it on.....it weakens the whole reason to get them then...and no I don't have any of those on this toon or my account. Down vote me all you want but I have said from early on when this topic has been brought up before...those mounts only belong with toon/class you did it on.

this argument could be applied to literally ANY achievement mount in the game, but its not the case. its a stupid excuse to handicap pvp mounts
Just to respond to feedback thus far, my main stipulation with the mounts is uniformity - the idea mentioned earlier about a saddle to get previous Gladiator mounts; whether anyone agrees with this or not (I don't cause I like seeing differences between peoples gladiator mounts earned, mine are from many years ago) the main focus here isn't about a RADICAL mechanic change, and an idea like this is out of the norm, since you can't really do anything like this in PvE, and I don't want something for PvPers that PvEers can't do, I just want the same.
The focus is really about a simple change, that actually feels right. As a few-time Gladiator myself, I do not think I deserve the right to have previous or future mounts that I didn't earn in that season, but I do however think I deserve to use the ones I earned, on my alts - this would be a different opinion if things like the Scarab lord mount, the Wotlk ahead of the curve mounts, and other major PvE Achievement related mounts were character specific.
Now in times before, I've definitely seen blue responses to this topic, basing it off the philosophy of showing that they wanted to ensure that players couldn't maybe act like they earned the Gladiator accomplishment on a different character, by showing off the mount on another character. To some degree I get the point of this, but the only way I'd see it being a fair argument, is if the same philosophy was expressed towards difficultly earned PvE amounts, because the premise is 100% the same - Hard Earned Mounts from two different styles of play.
Also with the change to the transmog system, it's pretty easy for someone to Sport a glorious tyranny enchant, and Elite PvP appearances that they didn't earn on that character, so the surrounding mechanics for other prestige related vanity items, contradicts the above mentioned idea.
Thanks for all the productive discussion thus far, this is how change happens.

Then the same should go for PvE mounts friend - I respect their accomplishments just the same.
Bump :P
Gladiator mounts should NOT be account wide because they only matter on the character / season you completed them in. I have a gladiator mount and I will be sad the day they become account wide.

Then the same should go for hard earned PvE mounts such as the Scarab lord Title, and mount, as well as any discontinued, raiding, achievement gated mount, since the proposed argument can easily apply that "they only matter on the character you completed them in". However this is not the case, so this expressed idea is solely based off opinion and for the sake of feedback it may best to consider what is currently available in game, and how other mechanics in the same category as this work in comparison to this one portion. Without the uniformity there's not much of an argument other then - "I think it shouldn't be account wide because [fill in opinion followed by an absolute]."
This is a good idea
good idea?
That moment when you click on a thread planning to lend your support only to see its a necro and you already supported it lol

That is by far the DUMBEST idea I have ever seen on these forums.
So you get gladiator in BFA and you get to buy a brutal nether drake? One of the most prestigious mounts in the game. That is just spitting directly in the face of the gladiators in BC.
Don't compare the scarab lord to a gladiator mount.
Gonna bump this thread kgo. I got glad twice in BC i have the achievement on all characters but i can only mount it on one mage which makes no sense, if we're saying that you can only use it on the character you got glad on why not make it the class you got glad on?
i have a horde and alliance mage i enjoy playing both but i can only mount my S3 drake on my horde mage it should be class account wide sort of like class mounts.
I mean gives more incentive to get glad on multiple classes not like i'm up for that but i know some people that would be and id probably play my alliance mage more if i could show off my goods ;) make it happen bliz.
