Hey Blizz. Can. We. PLEASE. Have an increased account-wide character cap!! I’m at 49/50. I want to level allieds for heritage. But I also don’t want to delete anyone! Please! The cap is too low for the amount of races and classes available. Please give us more slots. It’s been 15 years of a cap of 50. Needs to change!

I think everyone is smart enough to realize that this is the current and only “solution” to the problem.
Alternatively, people could ask for a restriction, that is now likely quite arbitrary, to be removed.

I have a server for horde (main), a server for alliance, a server dedicated to allied races (one of each race that I plan to level for heritage), and a toon or two on a few other servers that friends/family play on so I can play with them
@Tarryn I watched my mum play as a kid since 2005, made my own account mid-WoD (I know, I know lol). Mostly I just re-made toons I’d had on my mum’s account. Which added up over the years lmao

@Adraxis I was what they used derisively call a “Wrath baby”. I started playing during Wrath of the Lich King with my friends in college. My then boyfriend, now husband, had been playing since Vanilla.

I’d imagine at that point you’d be keeping many of them for sentimentality rather than working on them (though if all were 120 that’s a hell of a lot of paragon caches you’d be getting for little time invested).

What’s hard to understand about having replay value in a pay to play game? Not all my characters are max level but I do log into all of them. It’s more because I have ADHD and like to try out old content with new race/class combos. Plus, character creation is the more creative side to the MMORPG.

I understand your reasoning to have multiple characters.
Despite that what we have is more than enough.
@Adraxis: We have a higher character account limit than any other MMO on our scale. They have had to store more character data with each new expansion, it’s highly unlikely that a limit is just arbitrary.

And yes, I love to have different character appearances.
Hell I already have 20 characters in Classic. All at least level 10 lmao

Blizzard created this problem by adding so many Allied Races that you have to go to a huge amount of effort to unlock. When the reward is to roll a new character, you almost feel obligated to take advantage of that. They necessitated the need for new character slots to access all of the features of the expansion.

I cant even understand that question.
I just started two years ago and I have 50 characters AFTER deleting about 50. I deleted over 20 over irritation over the water strider fiasco.
I cant imagine playing this game for 15 years and NOT having 50 characters.
Do people not play alts?
Does the game not have ANY replay value?
