No wonder no one pvp’s any more. I go 6-0 in a lobby and one dude gets angry. Tells everyone to report me.
Starts PMing me, raging and says I told everyone to report you. I didn’t swear at all or get abusive. All I said was “I didn’t win trade at all. You have a skill issue if you think I’m a win trader…”
He continues to rage at me. To which I simply reply “get good”.
I then proceed to get a 2 week ban. Yeah I’m done with this game. Careful out there. You can’t even play the game with out getting suspended.
I feel for this. I dont report people, because Im an adult. Thats like being a little snitch-tattle-tell. However, the last two times Ive actually responded to people being overly verbally abusive…Ive gotten a 2 week ban, and a week before that.
So hell no, I do not believe there is any rhyme or reason to this report system. I really believe most the people who do these kind of things are abused at home, and feel vindication for reporting someone like they somehow have triumphed for the day.
You get 3, or 4 warnings, a 3 day ban, then a 6 day, so on and so on. You didn’t get a 2 week ban for what you’re claiming happened. There’s no way. You’ve had to had history of toxicity for that kind of ban. Stop playing the victim, and self reflect during your vacation.
Also, for future reference… to avoid getting caught in another lie… just know there’s a site called seramate… that shows your games played and how they went. The last games you played were on Dh you went a total of 8-10. And on either character you currently play “sp and dh” , did you go 6-0 any time recent.
Yah guy probably just flaming the healers every game for his mistakes. During your 2 week time out go read the social contract you accepted and think about how you can better yourself as a person and be more respectful to your healers that are putting themselves through hell for you to even play.
Na , they also don’t on per case basis anymore. If they get enough reports about they either automatically ban you and claim abusive chat or outright just say your account is locked (perma’d) if you climbed the ladder and reached the max time (both cases were 1 month into perma). I know they used to ban 6 months for win trading or something.
It goes something like 24hr, 48, 72… a week, 2 weeks, a month , permad. That’s the ladder for chat bans, other bans maybe different
It’s not impossible. However, he claims his last game was a 6-0. And he was obviously tilt que’n “hence the ban” So I doubt he played well enough to get a 6-0, or held in his rage for the 6-0 that he was accused of wintrading in allegedly.
Also his last 3 games were split between 2 days, technically. Before midnight, and at midnight. So I know for sure he went 2-4 in 1. So he would have had to go 0-6, followed by a 6-0. You can also see he lost 2 BGB in a row at that time as well… so as I said, he was almost certainly tilt que’n … which makes me doubt he got a 6-0 during that time.
As noted above Voraxus, if you are genuinely curious as to why you were suspended, move this to Customer Support or start a thread there asking. A Blue will usually come along and provide insight. That insight almost never makes the suspended account look good, the actions are always justified (well everyone I have seen over the years). Which is why you see the ‘idontbelieve’ responses above.
Also, to be clear, because they use humans to review the bad chat, what you were hit for was from some time period before the suspension, usually week/weeks before (because us humans are slow, an AI would be on it with no delay). So, that 6-0 win ‘mass report’ thingy has nothing to do with this.
Currently chat penalties start with a 1 week silence. Then go to 1 week suspension, doubling from there until they figure the account is helpless in following the chat rules and they perma close the account. Probably best to avoid going that far down that road.
As you are at the suspension phase, this is not your first chat action rodeo.

I have said some really crazy gamer words and the only warning i have ever received was a 24 hour mute and they locked my (personal) profanity filter on perm (been on for like 14 years now).
Tuckyb also says the most unhinged stuff ingame on the forums, leaves shuffles after abusing someone not using cds and a bunch of other stuff and he has only received forum vacations, so you would have had to say some really crazy stuff to be banned ingame.
