My point is, 60 characters is an insane amount and there is no reason to keep characters that are never going to be touched.
It’s just basic logic.
Why keep it and have it take up space when it’s NEVER going to be used?
Save yourself effort and just delete.

I play one actively. I have 6 alts at maxed that I seldom play. I have 3 mages on RP realms that are hunting world bosses and rares when I feel bored.
Why do you care if they aren’t touched?

My guess is end of TWW or later.
Removing the server cap was such a great change.
Now if only they’d remove the hero cap. I’d love another evoker without server swapping.
I suspect they will when evokers start at level 8 next expansion.
True… And I am… But that’s a much more limited system than one time purchases would be.
Also there is a limiting range on that one. (which I assume would still be a limit either way) you can only have five accounts I think. So 60x5 until you’d need a new bnet.
It’s 8 licenses per bnet, but I question why you’d ever need more than 24 characters, 25 next expansion.
Most likely. The cap just feels dated at this point. They already had the fix way back when with dh’s so they couldn’t be abused for raid runs.

I make stories, I play those characters, dress em up, come up with more stories and show them to friends.
Do I level them all? Or course not but that’s my business.
(though I’m at 10 70’s now without trying…)

I like creating new race/class combos, and I like playing both Horde and Alliance. I have Draenei and Nightbornes of every class they can each play, I have 9 Shamans and 7 Paladins. I like leveling through old zones and dungeons.
Only 26 of my 56 are level 70, the rest are scattered from 15-66 right now. Sometimes I park them so I can come back and level through the zones they’re in when I’m feeling it again.

My point is very basic logic, I’m not telling anyone to do anything or “controlling them”.
maybe if your reading comprehension was above 1st grade level, you would see that.
