Accidentally broke my chat window, how to reset it?

I accidentally moved the What Happened to Me tab and it ended up off the screen. I can’t seem to click on it to move it and when I used Edit mode, that one does not have the editable or movable option. The original chat box is behind and I can move it but not re-join the 2 together.

I deleted the saved variable for this specific character but the chat box setting seems to be stored somewhere else. How could I force the tab to show up so I can move it or where is the saved setting for chat box position so I can delete it?

Right click the tab for that chat frame and click “Unlock Window” if it’s an option.

Then drag the frame into the docking space of the other chat frames and you should see a white line appear next to the chat tab it follows by default. Let go of the dragging and the frame should snap into it’s original position and lock there.

The tab is stuck off the screen, I can’t access it to move it or unlock it.

Delete the chat-cache.txt for that character.

Located in \World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT\SERVER\CHAR\
