Access_Violation

So i am total lost with this one and have tried everything.
Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION - The instruction at “0x00007ffc457b0848” referenced memory at “0xffffffffffffffff”
The memory could not be “read”
Processid: 22340
Threadid: 22168

I have tried everything i could think of to fix this.
I have a intel 9 13900kf. Yes i updated the bios.
Here is a list of things i have done.
Updated all Drivers including GPU
Reverted GPU updates to before crashes started
Turned XMP off on my ram to see if it was that.
Repaired wow.
Ran a windows repair
Turned off every graphic settings possible to see if it was that.

The only thing i have not tried was to uninstall wow or uninstall windows and reinstall both. I fear that its my CPU but this has only started about 2 weeks ago when there was a random patch that was like 5 mb the one morning .

You may want to reach out to the computer manufacturer so they can help you determine if physical damage happened to the CPU when it was running with the wrong bios settings (intel’s fault).

Ok went nuclear and picked up a new cpu. Reinstall wow on a new ssd . It’s the only thing on the ssd and crash still happens. Bios is 100% up to date for the new chip so it’s 1000000000% not the cpu . So throw that excuse away.

are un windows 10 or 11? i want to try upgrade like someone suggested. im 100% sure is not hardware related

Windows 11 . Just went from a i9 13900kf to a 19 14900k

Next step is just a full format. Kind of messed up tho that blizzard games are the only issue I’m having.

You swapped a problem chip for another problem chip. Both are on the problem list that Intel released.

That said, you’re dealing with an incredibly general error that can be caused by anything from security apps you used previously to random hardware drivers to overlays. Troubleshooting it is really difficult unless you go to the memory dump level.
