I’ve gone ahead and actually uninstalled and reinstalled. Someone has said to do that and it’s worked for them, I don’t think it’s necessary though as it’s surely on blizzards end? I don’t know. I’m going to try it though.
I’m also getting the error, I thought it was my video card
after changing from an Nvidia to AMD. Still the same issue, and it’s always been random.
It happened in Emerald Dream and near Valdrakken.
Error persists. Tried everything around the internet regarding this issue, the only thing that consistently fixes it is a full uninstall and reinstall of the game. It will run perfectly fine the entire time for hours, as long as I leave the game open. If I close it and try to rerun it, I get the crash at my character select screen every time, at the exact same time.
Please extend the Remix event as this is clearly affecting thousands of players who have certain hardware.
Still happening to me. I’ve done everything suggested here on the forums and around the internet and nothing solves it. Everything else is running fine, just happening with WoW. And I don’t even use a intel processor. At this point I’ll just refund TWW and wait a couple of months until blizzard fixes this.
i would suggest. down clocking CPU by 200MHZ and turn of XMP/AXPO… [ACCESS_VIOLATION] is happing due to CPU/RAM clock speed to high… also flash your motherboards bios to the newest ver
I can’t promise anything, but if you’re using Weak Auras, delete it. I’ve been playing now for a bit and actually trying to trigger the error and its working SO FAR.
