Blizzard sells a product, if you don’t like the product then stop consuming it. They don’t have to “compromise” with you.
Yes, Blizzard sells a product. Blizzard decides to remove accessibility features. If you can’t stand playing a game with people who have disabilities because it gives you the squickies, that’s entirely a you problem. Maybe you should quit the game, since Blizzard isn’t going to force out disable players just because they bother you by existing.
There never was any compromise. Stop pretending their was.
That’s not a me problem, it’s a you problem. I am cool with how flying is.
For what? I’m not the one with the issue on the forum crying.
Who hurt you? Are you this bothered and sensitive irl like you are on the forum all the time?
There never needed to be a compromise, refer to my previous comment. lol
Skyriding is the default now. You earn it by default. Just by purchasing the xpac and playing the game. If you want old style flying in skyriding zones well, you have to do something a little extra to EARN it. If you’re too wrapped up in what you think you’ve been denied that you can’t see that well nobody can help you.
Differences of opinion aren’t trolling. It must suck to go through life with that attitude of yours.
How could ANYONE not want stable flying available without PF? Honestly, what would you loose? Nothing! And don’t bring the PVP argument. I don’t want to have to pee my pants while laughing.
I don’t see how steady flying is an “accessibility” feature.
^^this
If it’s by default then you didn’t earn anything. You were GIVEN it by default.
It didnt used to be but a lot of the player base got older. Game is going on 20 years now. Lot of people that started at 30 or 40 are now 50 to 60.
Pair that in with folks that maybe used that older flying or ground mounts to get around due to disabilities. Just have both if we want explorations give us interesting things to explore.
The quest takes like 20 minutes to complete at max level. They should just remove it at this point. Getting dynamic flight at level 10 is an absolute joke so I don’t understand why they can’t just go all the way with it.
“It’s not an accessibility issue for ME, therefore it isn’t an accessibility issue.”
we all have access to the same game.
sink or swim.
i agree 100%
I like your post, and you are 100% correct on all accounts.
I’ve played wow for 18 years and didn’t buy TWW because of the flight issue, and because I feel totally disrespected by the game developers. I will no longer support their product.
I cannot physically tolerate Skyriding and need to use Steadyflight. Also, Pathfinder is a relic of the past that has ZERO place in today’s game - it needs to be abolished. It’s hypocritical and extremely offensive for Blizzard to brag about keeping the “accessibility” form of flight in the game (Steadyflight) then demand we do more work than our counterparts to “earn” that accommodation.
The only thing pathfinder should be for is maybe a mount and increased flight speed.
Like having a form of flying tied to it is just silly and i have never liked it even before the whole sky riding regular flying thing. Draenor was the first expac they did it with and it was bad then too.
I agree to the increased flight speed but only if it’s optional.
Myself and many other players struggle with motion sickness (among other things), that’s even with the motion sickness control enabled. Even the recent increase in speed for Steadyflight is a bit too much for me, and I’ve had to adjust the way I play the game (more ground riding). It’s not a good feeling when your “entertainment” makes you want to vomit - nobody would like that.
“It does seem to punish folks that use steady flight for physical limitations.
I kinda have to agree.
I struggled through it to finish pathfinder. However it was an unpleasant aspect of the leveling journey.”
Due to arthritis I totally concur with Victoria.
This just ticks me right off. I can dragon ride just fine, but if someone can’t for WHATEVER reason, saying this just displays a disgusting sense of entitlement. I’ve been playing this game for 17 years, and I’m sure some players that are having trouble with dragon flight doesn’t mean that “the game isn’t for them”.
Pathetic, spoiled and disgustingly selfish.
Oh yeah it would be optional. You have base speed and then if you get Pathfinder just goes a little faster that’s all with a mount.
Omfg another one of these posts. Most of us had this knocked out in the first couple of days in early access. What’s your excuse? It’s not complicated to do the story line and go discover the zones.
