You mean those of you who used flight to travel between quests and questgivers, over mountains where no obvious route was shown on the map? You skipped all the stuff on the ground you were supposed to stop and admire, and ignored all other players in your rush.

I still don’t get this argument.
Skyriding is honestly more intuitive than standard flying. How is this more sensible other than allow you to remain aloft while doing what? As mentioned, work with in-game features and 3rd party addons to find a right balance and the game should work to your advantage.
If you need to ‘hover’ then I’d suggest landing and doing what you need to. Even those of us who don’t have accommodations will land to handle other things. Head scratcher to me.
Both with the argument and the unlock feature. Assuming the bot throttle from some of the discussions.

I want to see a video of you completing the story in “mere hours” while on a ground mount.
I see that as dishonest, considering there doesn’t seem to be any instruction on how to make it work in the current game.
Answer: it’s not.
I have zero intention of trying to figure out some “in-game features” that were intended for somebody with VERY different difficulties than I have, nor am I under any obligation to look for 3rd party addons to make you happy.
Let me know when you have solved my depth perception problem that has never caused me any issues in real life except for trying to hit a ball with a bat.
The fact that this argument is still going on at this point in the expansion suggests that Blizzard wants the players who see themselves as “Attack dogs for Blizzard” to be attacking players who struggle with normal flying.
And when I say “normal flying”, there is no such thing as a dragon. The idea that dragons fly a certain way in real life is beyond nonsense. The idea that a dragon could run out of energy, float to the ground, and be stuck there while waiting for their energy to come back is silly.

Problem with ground mounts is the Isle of Dorn is so boring, it’s hard to not fall asleep while traveling on a ground mount (or by feet as I did).

I legit did mine in a day, with a ground mount, and I have one useable arm. Everyone is different but honestly there don’t need to be as many attacks in this thread as there are, myself included.

The PURPOSE of PF was to keep us ALL on the ground “exploring” until X content was done and Y date rolled around.
Dragonriding VOIDED that purpose beyond argument day one of Dragonflight when we all got flight in the first hour of the expansion, to be repeated again in TWW.
The REASON for PF’s existence is GONE. …therefore PF should be GONE as well.
