I agree. In other posts, I have even mentioned that if Sky/Dragon riding is the faster and superior riding option, maybe that one should be locked behind pathfinder as a reward to travel faster and allow steady flying immediately. That said, I also recommended removing the attachment of flight from Pathfinder, and instead keeping PF with some rare flying mount as a reward and just allow all types of flying instantly. If we are already allowing LvL 10 characters to level in any expac, and allowing them to do so with DragonRiding, obviously flying does not hurt the game. As someone with carpal tunnel and arthritis, it would certainly make it easier for myself and others like me to choose which version of flying works better for us.

funnily enough we complained RIGHT HERE and somehow Ion got the message that steady flight was wanted AND has pretty much killed pathfinder in TWW.

Fiar, my wording was not that great. Lemme restate, If you so vehemently have a distaste for people looking for accessibility options why do you put yourself in places where you know you will have and be negative in your interactions?
I personally am not refusing the cane, the cane being ground mounts in my case until I can get the cool stability cane, steady flight. Which I did.
I asked for zero sympathy, but did apparently ask the wrong person for basic empathy or nuance in their thinking. I also stated I know I am an outlier, which was glossed over. Your dismissiveness of others is the reason I replied, not the strawman accusations you and the other dude threw at me.

you were in here CLEARLY to mock and insult people having trouble with skyriding who dont feel they should have to WORK for the accessiblity version of flight while YOU got skyriding for NOTHING…

Period. Here, we have a moment where I express again, you are not immune to criticism. If you can’t make mouse bindings work for Skyriding, that’s not a fault of the Skyriding, it’s a skill issue.
I don’t say this to be rude. If I have three fingers on my keyboard hand and can’t use a full range comfortably because of it, Blizzard doesn’t need to make a “double tap key for a new keybind” option. Would it be cool? Sure, but this isn’t an accessibility issue. No one is harmed by it not being an option.
I don’t have a distaste for people asking for accessibility. I have an extreme disdain for people who escalate their complaint to a level that is intended to prevent pushback. There are people with disabilities that take precedence far above quality of life additions, like blind gamers aforementioned. You are not prevented from playing the game due do your disability, by your own admission accessibility exists for you, you are simply not comfortable with it. That is a personal preference, not a failing in the system.

All adjustments are done with one hand normally. I do not use the keyboard to adjust my heading. Ever. As far as I am aware, you can’t adjust heading with the keyboard. Skyriding is very accessible for those with one hand. Arguably more accessible than static flight, if we’re talking speed:

old flying isn’t an accessibility feature it is just a holdover feature they decided to keep in the game for those that want to use it unless Blizzard said they were keeping it around specifically as a accessibility feature.

As well please quote where I said I WANTED to use the better flying option and am working on it. You’re stuck on something I never did, ask for sympathy and complain about skyriding. My ONLY skyriding complaint is that I PERSONALLY have not found a work around for the better flying option.
Damn dude, you certainly aren’t reading anything of mine properly. I am not comfortable with it, this isn’t hidden. I also am open to work around suggestions, sadly the one you brought up was something that I tried and hadn’t had success with. I then again, asked for input but was told to “quit the game” or “stop complaining about skyriding.” My complaint was only that I disliked your dismissiveness and that I personally had not found a work around but was trying.
Again, put your crusade aside and read what people are writing, I’m not the panda attacking anyting that moves and I’m not the blood elf M name demonizing everyone, I am ACTIVELY looking to use skyriding but have yet to find a way that works for me.
