You actually don’t get to be the arbiter of this for me. My PREFERENCE would be to go faster. ACCESSIBILITY would be not having to unlock alternate flying modes when the BETTER flying is unlocked on launch.

Correct. I’m stating in no uncertain terms that this is not an accessibility issue. If it were, we’d see you posting about the countless quests and world quests that send you on mounts both flying and grounded that cannot be stopped and still have abilities you need to press. These are surprisingly common.

I’m all for both flights being unlocked from the jump, I don’t care about the exploitation that comes from botters, but making this claim that Blizzard is infringing on you because you play one-handed is asinine. Bind skyriding buttons to your mouse. It is easily done with one hand.

Again since you seem to think I am putting myself on a cross here. I did my pathfinder. Grounded. While the faster and more efficient form of flying was handed out day one. Instead of being locked as ALL flying has been prior to Dynamic flying.

Accessibility. That’s an interesting way to frame it. The issue is you could make this argument for , not just this, but all content in the game. All content could be made more “accessable,” with the reasoning being the same–some people aren’t able to do it, because it’s mechanically demanding.

The point wasn’t that you should quit because you can’t, it was that you should quit if you won’t. You already dismissed one solution.
We’re reading, bud. You refuse to admit you don’t like skyriding, which is a far more genuine position to argue from than “oooo blizzard is bad they hate disabled people.”
Accessibility issues arise when a disability renders someone incapable of doing something without explicit aid. Blind gamers need auditory direction. Deaf gamers need subtitles. These aren’t something they can get away from, only things that have myriad solutions.
You can’t play with two hands. This is unfortunate, but it does not prevent you from Skyriding without aid.
At least had you tried the arthritis argument, I would be unaware if there’s a way to toggle mouse camera movement so you didn’t have to hold down RMB. (And I would go as far as to say they should, this I would consider an accessibility issue) I could Google it, but you’d have had a better chance than with this argument.

NGL: Had to look that term up. Guess I don’t surround myself with people who use a bunch of trigger words or whatever the world is calling them these days.
I’m not asking you for any evidence. I don’t need to know what you’re dealing with, nor do I care honestly. We all have our own thing.
It just sounds like people want to make an issue out of something that would also restrict 90%+ of their gameplay -or- they don’t want to bother configuring multiple tools to aid them.
Ever hear of Opie? It’s a radial that binds with one button and opens into multiple radials - there’s also camera control options to bind…you see where I’m going?
Get creative and make your own workarounds.
With, notably, the accessibility tools that already exist!
This is why I harp on this topic so damn hard. WoW is an extremely accessible game, but we have people trying this argument when there are people who do still need more assistance in WoW. WoW is a visually and mechanically complex game, and some people can feel locked out of high end content quite easily (I dream of a world where blind folks can join a pug raid and not be seen as trolling.)
To be clear, I have no clue if that dream is feasible. But it’s a pleasant dream nonetheless.

That’s really impressive. It’s been awhile for me, I had a hard time with Dynamic flying (I actually did well on those few mandatory races, just nausea isn’t my favorite feeling, lol) and just ended up not coming back to the game - further health issues too. I have PsA (autoimmune and arthritis type thing ), spinal stenosis (makes it hard to sit in a chair for long) and other things. I did pull off the Dynamic flight, but the vertigo type feeling still persisted. (kinda weird when someone says it’s fabricated, lol). Just by mentioning this doesn’t mean I’m fishing for sympathy or a pat on the back. Everyone has their story.
I don’t mind going by ground mount. There’s a lot of beautiful things and hidden gems to be seen on the ground. I laud you for your ability to just keep playing. I needed the break. The whole ignorance of others was just weird besides. Most people make it work the best they can for this flying thing, but they shouldn’t have to. A failure to grasp this simple idea is just spin, and it looks very awkward. Of course I’m just getting back on the forum and that’s an adjustment from reality too.
I’ve got my work arounds too, though not as impressive as yours must be. Hopefully one day the flying thing will catch up with the times. Until then, happy hunting - and when or if I decide to stay and play TWW I’ll see you around.

And guess what? I tried the solution you suggested, and it didn’t work for me. That’s not dismissing. Saying that the accessibility issue is fabricated is indeed dismissive.

I do. I would like to use skyriding, its faster. currently, including the option suggested by the Vulpera, I have tried a lot of options. They did not work in a way that made sky riding work for me so I literally just ground mounted to pathfinder. All open information I stated.
I took disagreement with the dismissiveness of a poster and suddenly ya’ll are reading words I never wrote and telling me to quit since I lamented not being able to take advantage of skyriding but that I managed grounded just fine till I completed pathfinder.
What you all got from that was me asking for a pity party.

Fair - I mean focus on it, instead of trying to create a wall you think can’t be breached. I will breach it, I want to make very clear I do not care what your struggles in life are, no one is special. I will criticize Steven Hawking for all I care, if he does something stupid. Even posthumously.
