ACCESS-VIOLATION Error

Since Saturday I have been kicked out of wow with a error code in this manner.

ACCESS_VIOLATION - The instruction at “0x00007ff86bbaffac” referenced memory at “0x00000258341faad0”

I have done everything to deleting all of my addon’s and renaming the file folders to scanning and repairing game to updating my bios checking for any update’s with the rest of my PC everything I could think of it has been still doing it please help me!

On Sunday? I had roughly 1 or 2 crashes maybe? And once they happened game closes I click exit on the crash explanation window and open WoW back up and log’s in perfectly!!!

Monday which was yesterday was the worst with prob 15+ crashes couldn’t even do keys…

And so far today we’ve had 4!

PLEASE HELP ME!

Understand this is mainly player to player discussion, and does not remove the need to follow up with a local PC expert.

To run dxdiag, open the Run window (Windows key + R), type “dxdiag”, and press Enter or click “OK”. This will open the [DirectX Diagnostic Tool], where you can view system information and save a report.

You can paste the results to a site like pastebin.com to help bypass the character limitations imposed by Discourse. Using preformatted text on tle link, by enclosing in tilde characters ’ will bypass link limitations due to trust level restrictions.

I done this scan and it says no problems found.

Use the Save all information button, then save it to a local file, before pasting it over to pastebin.

Pastebin.com Is a site you can paste a large file to condense it down to a link which will bypass the text limit of the forum. Using preformatted links will bypass the trust level requirement for posting .com or other websites. You don’t need to post it, but this is the limits of player to player support and may not bypass the need for a person to inspect your PC or a local tech.

Crash reports are reviewed as they get sent to developers, but they will not be able to help diagnose a PC issue or bug in the client.

I request this information only because nothing is known about the device, operating system or background apps you might be running, all can cause a crash if they conflict.

I’ve never done that before I saved the file and all but IDK how to do pastebin once I downloaded the report….

I mean this Access thing only happens it seems when i’m doing M+ Keys

CPU, the 14900k which unfortunately is prone to failure, which is noted in a sticky post, space might be a issue.

I think this is a gpu related hang. Windows or the Microsoft store is also having update issues as noted in the error report at the end, might also be space on drive being short

Completely deleted the game and all my addon’s redownloaded everything and so far so good.
