Accepting a group invite: problem

Earlier today I exchanged bnet details with a player on a US server (I’m on Oceanic) and she attempted to invite me to a group. However, despite numerous attempts to send me a group invite, I never received it. (Note, she isn’t the kind of person to say she was doing that and not sending an invite, so it wasn’t a player being deliberately evasive.)

We checked numerous things - I was online, I was showing as Online on the Launcher and we both were active on the Bnet and both playing Alliance. However - I did find later that I had Block Chat Channel Invites ticked and I’m not sure if that would interfere with a group invite.

Can anyone confirm if that might have been the issue or if there is anything else that could be preventing me from recieving a group invite?

confused

that could be it try it and see would be my guess
or could be a realm issue

Oceanic players cannot crossrealm or cross-group with NA players.

There shouldn’t be an issue. Did you try inviting them instead?

Say what?

Australia and the US are in the same region. We group and play with each other all the time.

That link doesn’t clarify that at all, but okay. Sucks to suck, then, I guess.

Well it does, which is why I said we are in the same region. IE:

You can party-up with friends on other realms within the same region.

And thanks for your very helpful response… :sunglasses:

No problem. Submit a ticket instead.

I’ve found that sometimes if you are told you can’t group up with someone, they still can join a group you list in the group finder.

I wasn’t told I couldnt group - the group leader was unable to send me an invite. It is what makes me think that I was somehow blocking her invite. I cant recall it happening before, so it just seemed very odd.
