Abyssal Shards disappeared

I had 11 abyssal shards out of the 15 needed for the new profession quest and I went to buy another one today and noticed the quest notifier said 1/15. I checked my bags and saw the ones I bought earlier were gone. They’re not under the item restore list either.

same, i was 10/15… now i’m 0/15

I completed the quest last night turning 15 in and received the follow up quest which relates to the new raid releasing. I just realized after playing the past few hours that this quest has now disappeared. very strange

Same situation, had a dozen shards earlier today, logged out, went to buy the last three and the quest counter is at 0

Just an update… I found a post on wowhead stating: “If you purchased abyssal shards and do not see them in your bags anymore, leave Nazjatar either by hearth or portal. Take the portal back to Nazjatar and the abyssal shards will reappear in your bags again.”

Sure enough, if you take the portal back to Nazjatar, you see a “You create: [Abyssal Shard] x?”

You should still have them.

Completed the quest, got “The Eternal Palace: We Can Make It Stronger” and it disappeared as I was doing it

Tried hearthing out and taking the portal back to Nazjatar and im still missing the shards.

only lost 1 shard but that is 5 pearls gone to waste.

Edit:
went back from Boralus port to Nazjatar and the item got added back to my inventory.

I completed this quest and don’t have the raid quest anymore. I wish we would get an answer on this. I could have upgraded some gear instead of working on professions with those 75 manapearls.

Yep, this is a joke. No blue post or even an acknowledgement. This is the customer service I have come to expect from Blizzard. I spend 75 shards on the stupid quest and then they remove the next quest and I can’t get it back.

I lost the raid follow up quest as well. I finished the first part.

Got my shards back in the mail today :smiley:

I opened a ticket to have them restored so if they’re not in your mailbox you may have to open a ticket.
