The “blessing of abundance” debuff is on me 24/7 and my dundun is taken, I enter abundance caves and no timers or progress bar comes up, I am unable to do anything and unable to leave even after hours in there except by hiding in a corner and hearthing out. I see other people progressing and doing it and moving on but I am unable to do anything. I see that I am “picking up” abundance and “depositing” it to the altar but it doesn’t actually do anything and none of my quests ever progress or show me as having actually gained abundance. It’s still broken even after the weekly reset/maintenance even though I know that that fixed some people I know. Wasting dundun on nothing and am now a week behind on currency.
When I check the NPC to ask how much abundance I have/what my score is from recent caves, the score window pops up and it’s all +0s on the right but the left side column shows that I did something. I am gaining no progression. I even died on purpose to mobs outside hoping that would get rid of the debuff, but no. I’ve relogged and restarted my game and computer multiple times over the past few days and it’s still stuck like this and no abundance caves work. Character is a blood elf shadow priest named Paramonimos on Wyrmrest Accord.

I think this is happening to me too. I have a debuff on me. I can’t see a timer when I enter an abundance now and no progress bars or anything.

Yeah I did the intro quest/tutorial for Abundance and that all worked perfectly fine, but the actual caves and events afterwards are all borked and do not open up any sort of UI to show anything happening at all while I’m in there. I see other people showing Abundance screenshots and they have progress bars and timers and stuff going on on the right side of their screens with the default vanilla UI, and I just have nothing but that permanent debuff that says I’m at 20,000/1000 abundance now at tier 1 when I mouse over it.

A regular abundance worked once for me. I did the one in eversong and it seemed to do what it should do. But the Harandar one did not work. I’m not sure when this debuff went on me. I noticed it after I read your post. But that’s probably what’s screwing it up. I imagine it’s supposed to go away after the even ends.

Yeah I think so, this has been on me ever since I did the intro/tutorial (which went normal and just as I see other people doing it in videos) so I’m guessing the game is not flagging me as having finished that/an abundance instance/zone and I now must be in some sort of limbo at the moment which causes me to be unable to do the actual caves.

I’m having a similar issue. I used up 2 shards of dundun and once inside I can harvest and deposit but nothing changes, no progress and I can’t do the quests. Also, after I left the den Dundun was still talking and buff was stuck counting down at 6 seconds. I tired the standard harvest mode too and same thing.
Do you have the blessing of abundance debuff stuck on you outside of the event? That’s what happened to us. Curious if that’s the common theme. I’m logged out right now, and kinda hoping it might go away after a couple hours offline.
While doing a hard mode hunt/prey quest last night, I noticed my blessing of abundance buff/debuff had finally disappeared while I had the hard mode prey buffs/debuffs, went to do a cave of abundance after turning in the prey quest and it actually worked like it was supposed to.
It’s only half broken it seems, as over 8 abundance dundun run, 2 bugged out and I got stuck in the instanced cave, while losing the timer and the event thus losing rewards and dundun shards.
Which is really annoying to compete with tradeskills as well as just doing the weekly or gathering rewards for collectibles…
Edit: and just getting out of the cave is a pain.

I figured out why mine was broken. Passing this on in case it helps other people.
For context it worked on my first 2 characters, but yesterday I tried on a 3rd and was getting the same symptoms as others, not seeing a timer, stuck inside, getting stuck with the abundance debuff, spent dunduns with no Unalloyed Abundance rewarded.
The problem was: my quest log was full. When you enter abundance, it appears you auto accept a hidden quest for that event. Because my log was full it couldn’t accept it.
Turns out picking up Abundant Offerings quest outside was what filled my log, and in the process of trying everything in the ‘normal’ Harvest mode , I cancelled it while inside and the timer started.
Subsequently I made some room in my quest log, picked up Abundant Offerings again, completed a ‘Harvest’ which completed the quest, then attempted an ‘Abundant Harvest’ and everything worked.

Very interesting! I think I did have a full quest log at the time it first broke for me, I’ll have to keep this in mind.
Recently got this issue as well, and I can say for certain that quest log is not an issue as mine was mostly cleared out at the time. No idea how to get rid of it either.

happened to me, can confirm removing quests from log fixed the bug
Happened to me today wasted 2 shards.
I’ve put in bug reports to this Abundance issue. No Abundance listed in currency . As a dual harvester it’s extremely painful as I cannot craft top professional gear without Fused Vitality.
Losing options for gear and generation of funds on AH.
They aught to credit every account that’s involved in this programming error with free gameplay for 1 year and 100 Fused Vitality!
