Come and join the legion of unsubbed, get some marshmallows and sit by the colossal dumpster fire to watch it all burn to the ground. Every tuesday Ion comes by to pee gasoline on it to try and put out the fire, amusing to watch as long as you aren’t dumb enough to chuck your money into the inferno.

On another note, I’m glad this one was just a bug. A change like this would have really made getting PF.2 done a lot more annoying.

It is possible that it was intentional and they decided to “correct” themselves after hearing people’s uproar.
Considering trash mobs exist purely for grinding or as annoyance to players, I will not be surprised at all if it actually was intentional.

Like when everyone said “it’s just the beta!” or “it’s only the PTR, that won’t go live!” or literally any other time people try to excuse things on behalf of Blizzard?
We, myself included, reacted based on a history of unwelcome changes being slipped into the game without notice.
They kept ringing the bell, we are just the hungry dogs reacting to the latest bell.

So Blizzard is willing to listen to feedback? Weird. I thought they never did.
And if it was intentional and they just decided to fix it based on feedback…why haven’t they done that with a plethora of other issues that had a ton of harsh feedback?
So taking that into account, it was most likely (imo) unintended. Since they have shown they have no issue with weathering a feedback storm and sticking to their guns.
Oh I have no issue with people pointing out bugs on the PTR. But those aren’t the posts being referenced here. Its the people that went waay out of their way to build some narrative.

The entirety of blizz’s communication with their paying subscribers could be handled by an AI bot and a list of response less than 20 phrases long.
How many years old issues is this game plagued with that were handled with the generic phrase we just received. The issues are still there and blizz expects us to believe them?
I’m sorry but at the rate things get lied about from blizzard has me calling ‘foul’. It took 18 hours for wowhead to publish their discovery, and for blizzard to use it’s stock , ‘unintended’ and we are looking into it.
Sorry but I’m not sorry, blizzard has earned it’s poor reputation and used their customer’s trust and loyalty to cash out and then bail on what is quickly looking like abandonware.

What exactly did you expect, response wise?
- People complained about a bug
- Blizzard acknowledged it was unintended, and stated they would fix it
- Blizzard fixed the issue
So in light of that…what exactly were you expecting?

This is why I responded with “something is wrong on beta and will get fixed on beta ASAP (blues words)”.
This rabid hate has gone beyond any reason.

I apologize, I saw what looked like the same tired excuse being made on behalf of Blizzard once again.
Quoting the post you reply to would help avoid that when being sarcastic, fyi.
By default it doesn’t just show your reply unless I start clicking on every little arrow on every post and text does not convey tone.
