Patch 5.2 added UnitGetTotalAbsorbs()
This is not currently added and makes tracking absorbs required via addons and without the API is quite a pain.

Good to bring attention to this. Absorbs and incoming heals on Raid frames need to be added as they existed in original MoP.
is this something that is still in retail or was it removed similarly to the distance tracking?
Probably caused by the same issue that has removed the Extra Action Button keybind,
they were in OG MoP 100% certain of that, I had a Disc priests and it was paramount to getting your heals counted. They also tracked in BG’s / RBG’s / Arena.

For those looking for a solution, for the time being i have a weakaura “Azzuh absorbs overlay” you can find on wago. Still need to finish implementing target / focus / party. Works well for raid / player
