Absolutely not cool

delves. they seem to be the only way to get geared without some kind of super solid premade groups.

Priest, 610 barely done anything.
Rogue, done plenty, actually literallyl no natural loot drops from the content they do.
Hunter is my trailblazer. she did all the quests and all the stuffs and all the things. She is still sitting in blues.
Also no natural loot for her either.

Why is my priest so much more geared and able to get into content as a dps than my other dps? Because she is the only one who did delves. If I hadn’t, she would be just as poorly geared.

Why did they make delves be such a good source of loot? It almost feels mandatory to do in order to even get loot drops at all. Otherwise, I seem to just sit there waiting for the vault loot. This feels utterly unfun and unexciting. I actually, surprisingly, enjoy playing with other people Blizzard seems intent on making me do solo content so I can even get a single piece of gear. Oh, and then my rogue did do some delves and then got the same item four times in a row. Thats a lot of work to do solo to get nothing out of it half the time, and then the other half it seems almost guided to fill the slot that isn’t of that Track (adventurer/champion/hero etc). My priest did delves and got one piece in virutally every slot almost in order from the head piece onwards, but then my rogue just kept getting junk.

me thinks rng is even more busted than normal and it feels like crap. Been a long time since I wanted to unsubscribe but I am feeling the urge. Between this and professions being all but useless for a handfull of people lucky enough to get the recipes they need to get good money or are lucky enough to be around when people are looking.
Spent two weeks posting in chat and got literally zero people for any of my professions. And you can’t get skill points without workorders after a certain point and the patron orders are mostly useless because then if i don’t have all the mats I have to go buy them as if I am making the item for myself…but without any real reward except the ocassional skill point and I am not even sure if that happened.

Mythic + is falling apart because nobody wants to even try inviting based on ilvl, but instead based on some invisible metric. 590 spriest can get invited, but 595 rogue and hunter can’t. Getting declined instantly, so they aren’t inspecting me or looking me up on a website especially since I don’t have any data logs to share…just nope, you don’t need in.
And even funnier?

Now I am 610ish and can SOMETIMES GET INVITED…but it almost always takes about a half an hour per dungeon plus another 20 minutes or so for each dungeon run to finish, so it takes an hour or more just to get one single dungeon done, only to get 12 crests so now i have to run another dungeon so i can get just one upgrade point, so my ilvl can go up by .5

And take that knowing the fact that I usually play for a solid 8 hours a day. I put in the work and get very little reward most of the time. It’s just more noticeable and thus more extreme than any expansion before, and I was there for them all.

Raids, M+, Delves.
Which one is the new shiny feature they want to show off and want players engaging in over the others?

That’s not why M+ is falling apart. This has always been a thing, even before Blizz integrated their own mythic scoring system.

good thing thats the only thing i said about that and didn’t continue from that one and only one line I typed…

The entire post is just you venting your frustrations on not being able to gear. I actually agree with a lot but this feels more like a diary entry than a discussion starter. /shrug

Then why join in on the discussion with 0.0000002 copper? If you weren’t that interested, you wouldn’t have posted. Stop with the disingenuous “naw, i don’t even care bro it’s whatever” nonsense lol. Either join in or don’t. Don’t be weird about it.

Never said I wasn’t interested. But I see you are just going to hiss and spit at me for not echoing agreement on everything you said, so good luck and have a nice day.

lol yeah. you say stupid crap and pretend that I only said one line and tried to address that one line, but sure…its about you agreeing with me or not lol.

Good riddance. tired of people like you with the reading comprehension of a fox trying to comment like it was insightful. Please do go.

Because open world players should get stuff too. It doesn’t step on anyone’s toes. Learn how to gear in your content.

over other content?
gotta keep the thought going before you say it.

yet most people are talking about how they are having touble getting into said M+ without doing delves to get champion track gear…

its an instance, not open world. ANd the gear it drops is far beyond anything you would need in open world content.

my whole post goes into detail on some of the ways it is indeed stepping on toes, aka a lot of people are talking about how they can’t get into M+ without the champion track gear from the delves.

I do. And I am literally talking about that in my whole post, which you would understand if you read anything. As usual Sen, disappointing to see you here because all you do is intentionally miss the point of a topic to post your troll stuff like that…That’s just a troll comment. Like, who doesn’t know how to gear? Be serious.

I think having a solo method of gearing up is a great idea that means if your guild mates want to get some gear they don’t have to wait for everybody to be in the mood to play in a group

great in theory, but turned out bad in practice. Also, it would be nice if it was only filler gear, but too many people have come out talking about how its basically the only source of gear they get.

I wish it was just a fun side thing to do, but too many people have run into the bump that I am now.

I mean if it’s a balance thing as far as one is providing better gear than the other I’m sure that they’ll get that work out over time.
It’s just that it does seem like a huge advantage of say you have a guy that’s wanting to play along with your guild but he’s not geared up and you all don’t have enough time to help him, at least he could run delves and get there

just enough time to do a couple delves! :face_with_peeking_eye:

There’s two sides to the game. The one that like 99% of people play…which is the carrot on a stick version…is where your stuck.

If you want to progress you have to go to the dark side. The creepy side where the people sit in discord with their little calculations and min/max yada yada…this is where the good stuff hides. Im not trying to be disrespectful at all. I agree with 100% of everything you posted I have several toons in the exact same position and I’m highly highly unmotivated to continue. The truth is you’re not sweating hard enough. It just…kinda sucks for the majority. Just kinda the way it is.
