I understand Crafting Profession very well. I have 6 characters with max level crafting from all past expansions, except since Dragonflight to the current update I only have a few, where I found the obstacles and hurdles to progress in crafting is ridiculously grindy and overall not good and too much of a waste of game play time.
The extra, extra, extra hurdles and obstacles are NOT necessary to progress in any crafting profession - but since Dragonflight they added all of these extra, unnecessary, dumb obstacles that are simply a big waste of time! That is one of the main points of my post. I am also aware of the “bonuses” to level up specializations, but that is NOT the point of my post. It is the awful game mechanics and constant fail rate, which is clearly bad, and I am not the only one saying it.
For any crafting profession, specifically Alchemy, to fail 90% - 95% of the time, and you need to go through all of this red tape and tedious grind to progress is simply not fun, or rewarding. It’s ridiculous and I stand by what I wrote, 100% percent!
If you fail to understand what I wrote, I can’t help that. I been playing WoW for over 20 years, and I love the game, but crafting professions like Alchemy should NOT be so ridiculously tedious, time wasting and have such excessive fail rates to progress. It’s simply unnecessary to add these extra layers of ridiculous obstacles that causes failures to happen way too many times. That just hinders the player and their time trying to enjoy the game.
I prefer to enjoy the game as much as possible, as other players do, not deal with these unnecessary extra layers of obstacles, which Blizzard didn’t have to add to the game. Spending hours failing at Wild Experimentation is the worst game mechanic I have come across and it is such an unnecessary waste of time in Wow! This part of Alchemy crafting is NOT necessary and it’s awful, and it should be removed from Alchemy altogether. The other part of this is the fact that you have to wait to level your specialization to make a stupid potion to mitigate the 10 minute wait time! Talk about wasting a player’s time with this unnecessary and awful obstacle Blizzard added to Alchemy! It needs to go, big time!
Players want to enjoy their game play, explore, and make progress as much as they can during every expansion and experience, not waste time on this awful game mechanic obtacle fail in Alchemy crafting profession.
Like I said before, Blizzard can do better and I hope they improve Crafting Professions in the game for all players where it is more rewarding and the progress is not at a snail’s pace, and a player is not failing to progress 90% to 95% of the time, specifically for Alchemy. That part of crafting for Alchemy simply needs to be removed from the game and it will be fine.
With that said, this is where I stand on this crafting issue with Alchemy. It needs serious improvements overall, and the whole fail thing to learn something new needs to be removed from WoW crafting profession entirely. I hope Blizzard improves on this, soon! It would be appreciated. Cheers! - JJ -
