Including the additional races being included to the warlock class. What is the best warlock race for the horde and alliance once it goes live?
Probably races that could already play them would be my guess
Racials are only impactful in certain circumstances. For PvE anyway (since I don’t know about PvP) the relevant ones are the bleed/debuff dispel for Dwarves, and Shadowmeld. Gnomes have a snare removal, but I don’t know how much that matters when you can just Demonic Circle out of danger.
Just go with the one that is visually appealing to you.

That is interesting a warlock that is night elf and can shadow meld. Place your pet else were and ambush
Depends on your criteria for “best”. In terms of sheer coolness, I am most excited to finally have a draenei warlock. Something I have wanted since TBC.

well, as always, depends on the content. pve? night elf since shadowmeld is a thing. pvp? orc still cause of stun resistance. that’s just my opinion though.
High mountain tauren for rush stun/ more movement.
The Lightforged racial to explode in a very minor AoE on death is the new meta for all warlock specs, builds and scenarios.
Finally the warlock community has access to this powerful tool.
The summoned light anvil (which is not a forge) will also have some play for warlocks, albeit a it more niche.

All i know is that (Highmountain) tauren are the worst race for warlock as their casting animations just do not work well. Its so light that it feels like your spells have no impact at all.

From a lore perspective Human, Gnome and Worgen for Alliance.
Orc, Troll and Forsaken for Horde.
But best is subjective. Recials are largely irrelevant anymore. And if you’re the kind of person who wants to min/max your toon in the most extreme way, you wouldn’t be asking this.
Just pick the one you like the look of.
