The developers are all participating in the unofficial class discords.
Curiously, these places are much better moderated and most of them have high level discussions that actually give them good feedback and understanding the player base.
Now, you can say that you also don’t feel represented by this “community” feedback on classes, for example, but you’re free to join the class discords and have high level discussion / conversation about your class / role with your fellow players (and devs might even read / participate in those maybe)… unlike the Community Council gate keep.
Hey, I’ve been wanting to join the council. It’s partially why I’ve returned to the game, I want to rep the RP players. I am ready for the trials!

Remove it, or lighten it up. Frustrating that someone is a few milliseconds faster to click a flag and poof. Especially in AV when you only get one or two chances at most over the match to capture a flag.

Seemed like one of the very few posters that actually deserved to be a part of the “community counsil”.
Instead we got garbage about “omg I’m going to have to delete a character that I haven’t played since cata and even though there is a character restore I’m just going to whine about it”.
Who are you, why do you look so cool and there are more than the two low level alliance alt posters for the community council?.. also if i may ask what do you guys actually do and how much power do you hold / what can you whisper into the devs ears?

Any EU Council Members have to use a newbie toon on the NA forums, as they can’t post with their EU toon.

He was removed before I joined, but it wasn’t just Blizzard’s choice, from what I know from the few CC members I’ve talked to in DMs, most of the other council members wanted him out too, cause he was acting like he was in charge of everything.

huh you aren’t a low level alliance alt, i thought you were for some reason. But yeah I only see you and the lvl 12 human. First time i’m seeing others on here on general discussions. I made a whole rework DH thread for vengeance in my opinion to make it better and it went pretty neglected with no responses

Like my opinion of your cc posting was already rock bottom but man you just might be worse than the people who never post. At least they arn’t making stuff up at every turn with no evidence.
You’re pretty rude there, the forums should be a more kind place. But I will say this Community council member that was banished did say he did enjoy saying the N word in his younger days and was not the greatest person. But he’s grown / matured more. It was all on asmongolds stream when he interviewed the dude. IDK anything about between the time he became a CC member and when he got banished from it.
I don’t know much about Maizou is but treating “toxicity” with “toxicty” makes no one win. Does cancel culture suck? Sure does, is there anything we can really do about it immediately without bringing our selves down to their level? Not really. We must be better and lead by example with that gaining respect and admiration. Resorting to trash talk and name calling will only earn the ire of your enemies and peers.
Just check the post history. Person seems to enjoy just using insults and such on the regular. Most of their posts are designed to be insulting. It is not against one person alone.

my biggest confusion is how I get banned by the forums from quoting people or saying things that aren’t really against the CoC and i would love to go into details but thats also againt the forum policy. Like i dont actively insult and target people like that specific poster but the keep truckin without a ban. I say something controversial or quote someone and bam, ban. The CoC is so confusing and i read it at least 3 different times.
Please be sure to report posts that violate the rules. The Mods don’t actively browse looking for trouble. They respond to reports.
If you find a topic is controversial, maybe avoid it. Stick to talking about WoW, or food. Food usually goes down pretty well as an off topic that causes no drama. Just don’t overdo it.
Also, don’t quote things that are against the rules. Just report. Moderation is not fast, and not always consistent, but that is the most we can do as players right now.

Well one thing i learned from watching the forums is you can get banned just for saying specific words, regardless if you’re quoting someone or not. Just because its a quote doesn’t deter you from getting it if said on the forum. Speaking of food… why do i have to buy a lot of mats from the vendor to make most of my cooking recipes why can’t i just grind them out D: and can I have a chef hat as part of the profession equipment in dragonflight?!
On the topic of pending vacations (I see it, you see it, we all see it) my paid vacation was approved so I will have an entire week to poopsock it up and not leave my house, I am so excite
I’m not sure what you mean unless you mean forum bans. But thats something i forgot. What do you think is the latest they will allow preorders to be out. Because people will take vacation time from work to play dragonflight for a week and if they change the release date its gonna spam the forums with how upset people are that their vacation time can’t be changed.
