So I’ve been away from Shadowlands since 9.1. Does anyone know if there are any similar type of Soul Eater mounts that are easily obtainable? I always liked these mounts but it seems they were always linked to PVP or some very high criteria to achieve. Did they ever release a variant that is easy to get?
No they did not. Your best bet is to hope at some point down the line, that Blizzard releases a similar mount.
No, and tbh they won’t ever come. Seen a lot of pvpers happy that no mount in the game for pve has a model similar to their soul eaters. Blizz always does their best to not kick that anthill of pvp pixels.
I’d say just move on and accept it will never happen.

No, PvP players don’t care. There has been unarmored glad mount every expansion until BFA when they reworked the gladiator system, with the exception being wotlk where the unarmored drake was glad and the armored was icc glory.
I don’t know what happened, like if they had a philosphy change and wanted glad to be more special (despite being much more easily available) or if it was just cut content. Like, there weren’t protos in BFA, but that was the drake.
The shadow drakes of SL might’ve been in the cut content patch.
Nope, I think it’s gladiator only. At least if you’re referring to
Ehh not the end of the world, but I would have liked one. One of the few death inspired mount designs in the whole expansion and they don’t make it accessible to most of the players… It’s okay though because they made like 4 or 5 variants for almost every other mount…

Wouldn’t of killed them to add some unarmored ones tbh, or at least some time in the future.
The cut patch looks most like thros (and maybe regional zone raids like tier 11) but nothing besides what we saw in drustvar would show such unused models.
Unfortunately they didn’t, and they didn’t for the KSM mounts (iirc, could be mistaken) either which stinks. Would’ve been nice if there were alternate ways to get them. 
that might just be the perfect BDK mount right there…think they missed the mark on that one, lol
oh well…on to new mount hunts!

I just wish Blizzard would do what they did with the Netherwing drakes - armored versions for the PVPers and non-armored versions for the folks wanting at least the base look for the Souleaters.

Yeah, that’s what they should’ve done but since BFA no more unarmored gladiator mounts. I think Legion also only had the one Valarjar paragon mount so maybe it’s something they were going to start doing then.
they dont kick that anthill because nobody cries harder or louder than them. blizzard had a perfect opportunity since we had 4 seasons to swap the m+ mount with the pvp mount
