In past expansions I was always gold starved, but now in TWW I have the best enchants and professions leveled up and I still have 70K plus gold. In just one weekly box for running 2 delves I got over 16k gold.
Is it just me or its way easier to make gold in TWW maybe things just go cheaper. I am curious if other experience this also.
I’ve wasted probably 2m+ on wow tokens so far buying various crap and still have more than enough for everything

I got a few of these… playing a lot of alts, when I turn in the 100-fragments the box had a bunch of stuff and 16k gold. I had to double check it and confirm stash just in case it was a graphic bug. Got it twice. Usually its 1600g and gear.

I’m the sole blacksmith guy on a dead server, so I usually get a healthy amount of tips.

There is something to be said for not combining servers. The AH and community was more active previously.
Gold inflation has long been a thing in WoW.
Once player housing comes in and gives people a good gold sink, I’m sure that’ll change things a bit.
The large award amount could happen with chests in Dragonflight as well. Maybe the random 16K reward is a consolation prize for removing mission tables in Dragonflight.
However, gold in general has been relatively easy to make over the last three expansions. Chest rewards from weekly quests have really improved over the years.
