Abomination Factory requests

I am rather happy with the Abomination Factory, but have 2 small requests.

  1. Can we take our Abomination friends to other places besides Shadowlands please? I spend an inordinate amount of time in old worlds and it would be nice to have my new friends come.

  2. Can we have a pattern to make an original model Abomination? Like the ones in the plaguelands or UC? I am rather fond of them and their cute wiggly butts.

That’s all, thank you.

I’m surprised you can’t. I take my owl friends everywhere.

That is awesome! I guess my blue angel toon will be getting attention next. I really like those little stewarts.

It’s not particularly surprising, they are two entirely different things and purposes.

Covenant buttons can be used outside shadowlands, the steward is a timed duration, non-combat cooldown covenant button.

The other is a non-covenant button always out (in supported zones) bodyguard companion that has additional features based on which one (move faster then epic ground including indoors for the ones that carry you, heal, tank, etc…)

So it isn’t very surprising that the timed duration non-combat cooldown button can be used anywhere, and the all the time non-covenant button covenant bodyguards cannot (sadly)

To the OP, I’d agree on both counts, it would nice

I wouldn’t call Stewards completely non-combat. Anyone who can be summoned to make healing/cleansing potions that can be used on a separate cooldown mid-fight has the same effect as many pets.

The steward can be accurately compared to a 5 minute cooldown enhanced healthstone/healing potion button, as once it shows up and gives the few potions immediately, it does not fight in any way.

Any combat pet, as was being referred to, will actually fight in some way. Hunter/warlock pets, even the the abomination who’s purpose is just to find things for you (the luckydoo starter one) will fight with the player, and attack things if badly.

And bodyguards in expansions that have them and they are out (warlords/legion), sadly the abominations as is the case with bodyguards present in other expansions, are relegated to the areas of the expansion it is from.

I would love to be able to take Martz(the tank one) into the Maw with me…

I sure am going to miss the stinky gang when we leave the shadowlands.
Best friends I’ve ever made

They need to do more stuff that is useable outside of its own specific expansion area and also that transfers from expansion to new expansion.

I dislike how almost everything from an expansion is just finished and forgotten the day that expansion ends.

A big one for me was class halls. I think those were a thing that could have been continued in some form. They didn’t have to dominate every expansion but they could have kept them relevant in some form.

Sorry I strayed a bit off topic.

Could not agree more if I tried. That has been one of my biggest gripes about WoW.

In my case, progress in the factory has come to a halt… late to the work, that alt was later on my priority, well, that alt is now semi-main on the list, given we’ve moved to ZM.

So far, not a single flesh has dropped, and I am stuck at tier 3… no, I don’t have business in SL or the Maw this week.

That’s odd. I am not getting a ton of flesh, but a nice trickle.

I really enjoyed the abomination factory and miss it when I’m pursuing meta as a paladin.

The Necrolords have so much more personality than the dumb Kyrian and my character relates to them so much more.

Why couldn’t they have made the covenants cosmetic?

Agreed. I find the Kyrian dull by comparison.
