I’m trying to decide what to spend my first soul cinders on. Is this new covenant leggo good enough to outshine Absolute Zero for Frost spec? Anyone tried both to compare? I’m interested in input for both arena and BGs.
I’m guessing that AZ can work better for coordinated setups in arena. However, AF should still be pretty close right? Since it improves the burst window a lot. And for BGs it should still see a lot of value (though I guess freezing half a team can be more impactful).
My DK experience this expansion is limited but I dont see how Abomination’s frenzy would outpace 1.5 minute freeze stun. The shorter CD and stun is invaluable 10% bonus damage taken and more rime procs is basically nothing i would think but I’d let an actual DK main tell you for certainty…
You’re better off taking Absolute Zero. The only other leggo’s I could see being viable for Frost DK would be Koltira’s Favor for single target or Death’s Embrace for duels against anything magic related. Other than that though Absolute Zero is still the BiS.
I’m no good at math but both Koltiras and Frenzied Monster would be more of an overall DPS increase considering abomb limb is a 2 min CD and the others are no CD and 45s cd
