Once a mob dies, you loot the body (gold, items, etc.) but once looted, I can loot for a second time - normally just extra gold.
Is this a bug or something rogues are able to do? I asked my friend who’s a druid and he isn’t able to double loot.
Hmm, that’s probably a bug. I’ve never been able to loot a mob twice.
A hilarious glitch I have encountered however is with my hunter. Instead of grabbing my two-handed axe when in melee range, my character instead two-hands the quiver from time to time instead LOL.

If that’s true you should report it and stop doing it because you could get banned.

I’ve seen lag so bad that you had to loot a mob twice to get all the loot out of the loot window.
Lucky, I’ve never had that happen to me and I’m almost at 3 level 60’s.
I find that happens if I inadvertently move a little bit while looting and end up needing to loot twice.
Do you have a macro casting pickpocket and then your opener?
I’ve found that in that case the pickpocket casts but the loot window doesn’t appear. But after the mob dies, you can loot it twice, with the second loot being the pickpocketed items.

This is most def an exploit…
Have you done pickpocketing? Pickpocketed items are from a separate loot table than normal loot. There’s no mistaking where they came from.

It’s unlikely to be an exploit, since if you have auto loot on with the macro, it just loots it without any trouble.

Do you have auto loot on? because i’ve heard there’s a bug with autoloot that for some reason avoids you from looting everything the first time.
But this was more secure and less exploitable than just updating the original client (which didn’t have these errors), right Activision? Right?

How is that an exploit? All that happens is you don’t get your picked items immediately, but after normal looting.
This happens to me all the time since I have pickpocket macro’d to all my openers and auto loot isn’t fast enough to loot the items.

Yes, it is a bug. But you aren’t looting the mob twice.
I will guarantee you that each mob you “loot twice” is a mob you pickpocket looted before initiating, right? Sometimes, when you pickpocket, it will not loot the coin in time; after you kill the mob, you can loot it regularly, and then loot it a second time to get your (ungathred) pickpocket coin.
It is a bug because of the server lag/delay in the pickpocket (probably anther spell batching issue); but it is not like you are actually looting it twice, just collecting the pickpocket coin that you would have (and should have) picked up before the mob was killed had pick pocket been working correctly.

I’ve seen that too.
Also a strange lg on my mage switching from the staff to the wand…sometimes the staff fires as a wand for a fight or two.
Rogue with skinning would loot three times.
