Ability/Loot Lag on Oceanic Servers Despite Normal Latency

I can't believe there syill has not been ANY response about this! It's ridiculous! This type of customer service makes Telstra look awesome..

There doesn't seem to be any way to escalate it within Blizzard either. Everything points you back to these forums :S

A smallish group of us have contacted the media here in NZ to help us see how we are covered legally , we brough a product and service we cant use ,i suggest Australian players do the same . Patience is getting nobody anywhere , Blizz dont dont seem to care , maybe some bad press will get the attention needed . Or at least warn others willing to waste money.

I just did the world boss in Arathi Basin - It was at like 9mil HP, I started attacking (was like casting in wallpaper paste) and i think the game registered (for me) that I got like 5-6 arcane blasts off in the space of about 3 minutes lol. It is just Totally horrific.

We need to start a petition.

I was Genuinely considering calling FairGo and the commerce commission today.
Map: Arathi Highlands
Server: Dath'remar
Time: 30mins to 5 mins ago
Warmode off
Character: Chaosrider is character affected
Not grouped
Combat delays of up to 2 seconds for skills/spells
Looting delays of up to 10 seconds

This is getting beyond a joke. When there is no lag it is great but as soon as the lag hits this game becomes a joke and my frustration level climbs.

And blizzard removed the ability to report lag in game through the help system.

Some people will say that the game works fine and the Consumer Protections don't cover if it is fit for purpose.

But this is like buying a car and finding that for most use it is fine but every now and then you suddenly find that the car starts suffering control problems where steering and acceleration/breaking is all delayed by 1-2 seconds.

We bought a game expecting it to work fine 100% of the time but are finding it is not going good 1/4 of the time.
I can't believe how bad it is at the moment. Never in my 5 yrs of playing can i remember it being so bad. Feels bad man
I'm now at 3k world MS. In a raid. So yeah.

I remember bad patches during WoLK towards the end of ICC tier - but this, this is something Far beyond that.
Utterly terrible in Vol'dun at the mo. Calestrasz, no warmode, this toon yadda yadda... trying to interrupt an enemy cast is a joke, looting terrible. Home / world showing okay, nothing like the second or three to do any actual activity in-game. Any news, progress yet? Please?
Given this is still a serious issue and Blizzard don't seem to be doing anything about it, I'm feeling that I might just unsub. I'm not going to sit here night after night suffering through lag.

I could go and level an alt, but I bought BFA to play BFA, not slug through Northrend again because the new content is unplayable.

On a personal note, arathi is nigh unplayable on my server "Nagrand" 6-8 second delay bloody ridiculous.
Nasty lag in Arathi tonight. Unlike usual, this is actually high latency as well, not sure if its the same issue or something different.

not for me , world latency shows 32ms , still 6-8 second delay
I'm seeing my cooldown timers go backwards to adjust to the server lag. Pretty bad in Tirisgarde, three to five seconds before a cast goes off. And then it's fine. And then it's awful again.

This is not of the quality expected of you, Blizzard.
Is this still being looked at? Send a GM my way right now and I can show you a terrible server situation.

if This was Mal'ganis server, this would have been fixed 1 day after people reported the issue. Come on, get your act together Blizzard, this is beyond a joke now. We DEMAND the service we are paying for.

If it was any US server, there would have been swift action taken. Guess Oceanic isn't important enough.

And here they are promoting 'hey stay with us six more months and get a mount'. Or 'buy this expensive virtual ticket to try Classic'. If that demo was run on this infrastructure nobody would play it.

Sub runs out soon. Perhaps it's the only message they'll understand.
