I just stopped playing and logged a ticked. Too annoying to keep playing.
pretty much just given up playing any of my 110+ chars after a specific time, because it is just impossible to level or do any worlds quests, kinda sad really, i love BfA but can't play it cause of this server side lag...
realm: Saurfang
problem: any BfA area, 3 to 5 second lag on skills, looting, pretty much anything that requires interacting with the world... ping is always 15 home/15 world, ping doesn't change when the lag starts..

Too laggy, happening every night now, and I can only play at night for a couple of hours. Still need to do the quests to unlock the dungeon and i've been putting it off because it has been so laggy every night. I'm probably just going to unsub till it's fixed at this rate.
09/02/2018 08:19 PMPosted by AussyIt's been 7 days now since an update.. any update....whilst blizz have responded to like 100 other threads in that time... takes 5 seconds to pop in here and give us a short update
This.
Anything is better than nothing.
Nightly check in. I see we have no new feedback, Cheers.
yep horrid experience here to the point where i simply logged off.
30ms - 100ms during peak times on my display but the actual ingame response is MUCH worse. fel rush and glide is just impossible, looting mobs is unbearable. this only happens in outdoor world in kul tiras and zandalar. other zones are fine, eg broken isles, northrend etc.
instances/dungeons are also fine.

I sent BlizzardCS a tweet asking what's going to happen, watch it get ignored.
Think this is my 5th report: Zuldazar and Drustvar.
Again, no issues in old world, just BFA.

This is quite comedic... I fight mobs, but my ability does seemingly no damage. They keep attacking me, then 3 seconds later their health bar jumps to 0 and they drop dead. Looting will take a minimum of 5 seconds. Mounting? The cast finishes and your character starts sprinting along on the ground for 3-5 seconds before *POOF* the mount appears.
This is pathetic - hands down the worst game experience I can remember having. If Instances were suffering from the same issue I would have already stopped playing this game. But, as requested... here are some more useless reports for Blizzard to ignore:

Then you have a different issue to the one being discussed in this thread.
The issue we're talking about is world/home appearing normal, but activities still showing massive lag, ie server side lag.
Unplayable lag. I'm not even bothering to log in these days. :(
When the lag lessens, there is a constant delay for everything I try to do, which is unacceptable, because I main a Healer.

I'm experiencing both types every day. Sometimes interacting to provide a truly revolting time in WoW.
From talking to other players in WoW the past couple days, this dual lag mainly seems to be affecting some Oceanic players outside Australia (and one poor sod I met inside Australia who is still on DSL in the back of beyond - though given his connection is permanently high latency and just generally !@#$, I'm not sure it counts :-D ).
Prior to BfA, we had a normal fairly consistent experience - as low and smooth a latency as our connection/play time given peak network usage/type of connection and geographic location allowed for.
Now that BfA's released we're getting intermittent network latency spikes outside our control (my ISP and my own testing shows the problem is well outside my fibre connection and their network), every 10 minutes or so lasting 5 - 60 seconds, which isn't showstopping, but can be troublesome during fight or flight :-)
And then there's the joy that is the server-side lag which seems to be only in BfA world zones. Latency doesn't spike on the meter, but everything's taking a few seconds to happen, regardless.
Perhaps the network latency is simply the result of more players on early in the xpac, periodically congesting international connections, like mine from NZ to AussieDeathLurkingEverywhereLand (everything there is deadly! ;-) ). But why does it spike so sharply like that? Why isn't it more consistently bad, and match peak online times?
OTOH this server-side BfA zone lag is something else entirely, that only Blizzard can sort out.
Anyway, I think anyone experiencing lag on Oceanic servers, owes it to themselves to monitor the symptoms, work out which type it is, or sink into despair if it's both :-D , and report the problem via support ticket, as well as posting in to the appropriate forum thread.
Surely Blizzard can't ignore... what? How many Oceanic players are there? And this BfA lag at least is basically universal, isn't it? I mean no one's escaping it, are they?

Yeah, truth hurts I guess. 3 weeks no fix, no change.

Looks like they're deliberately ignoring it again....
Ask a companys support why they're ignoring you, get ignored. Blizzard continues to show 10/10 dedication to their quality of service.
We have the same issue in LATAM and guess what? no response from Blizzard.
09/02/2018 08:07 PMPosted by AehlJust so you know, it's a national holiday weekend here in the states. Not a ton of coverage
Then maybe its time we got an Aussie service centre that runs on OUR time and provides us with local support.
Quite simply costs too much. Cheaper to have night shifts. That way there is no duplication of infrastructure costs.
Actually its the same, its just the world (which is the server itself) actually shows that i have latency issue. Home ms is your home network.09/03/2018 06:42 AMPosted by Dahlee09/03/2018 06:25 AMPosted by ZorixarLove sitting at 42ms home, 3676ms world

Except they dont have one and it still takes 17 hours or more to have a ticket answered, forums issues have a 17 hour wait as they are run on US time and we are told "Its a holiday" (it isnt here) or its "after hours" (it isnt as its 1030am here).
Asking for local support for products sold overseas is not a large ask...nor is it unfair or unreasonable.
Oh and just now? It took me five seconds to start a cooking fire...my toon just stood there.
10/11 and no lag anywhere else in the game.
I mean really...seriously...how much more of this is there going to be? Is this the level of service and gameplay we can expect for the entire EXPAC? This affects an entire REGION and we still have NO idea of when or how or even IF this can be fixed?
What is being done?
