Ability Transmog Glyphs

Hey folks, I was wondering what your thoughts would be on having glyphs that replace newer spells and abilities’ icons, animations, and sounds, with older feeling ones for players.

Such as replacing BoJ’s tooltip/sound/and animation with Exorcism. It does the -exact same thing- same range, same power, same importance… but brings back that old school paladin feel to your gameplay, and class identity. Sure you dont need it, but it would be great character customization to feel unique among your fellow paladins.

Or perhaps replacing Divine steed with a glowing holy sprint for short bursts, or a winged jump/fly (that stays on the ground for mechanics) instead of a mount bursting out of the ground from no where for a short time.

These are the biggest examples on my mind at the moment, but I am sure there are more.

Note that these glyphs -do not- change the existing mechanics in any way, they alter the animation, sound, and tool tips for the player and others to see… the spells function -exactly- as they should, it is purely a cosmetic change to make old school pally players feel more comfortable with a class that feels unrecognizable compared to it’s classic renditions, to make players more comfortable with playing both classic and retail without too much difficulty. (For those that dont like drastic change too much)

So what do yall think?

Would prefer old spells and skills return fully, not half baked like that.

I agree with you honestly, I want my full tool kit back, and I want all the abilities to be valid. Button bloat isnt a problem. I just want to have all my oldschool powers back and to play like an old school pally
