If you’re in a party, and join a solo queue, you can not leave that party.
I think it would be a very appreciated quality of life change to allow you to leave your previous party while in a BG, that doesn’t really impact the game in any significant way. (Otherwise you have to be kicked; or if you were lead, the party has to disband.)
I’m sure many rankers have experienced frustration with this.

Not sure if this will work, but you used to be able to leave party with;
/script LeaveParty()
I’m pretty sure it doesn’t. You just have to tell everyone in your premade you messed up and they have to drop the queue and reform the group. I haven’t heard of a way from anyone confirmed to get around this.
