So I’ve been running delves on my BDK tonight and finally made a 2H weapon. It made me realize that Runeforging was completely abandoned for DKs, I mean isn’t there only like 2 that are even used…
Frost will use some combination of Fallen Crusader, Stoneskin Gargoyle, or Razorice depending on specific build and gear loadout.
Blood will use Either Sanguination or Fallen Crusader, depending on if it’s San’layn or if it’s doing keys as deathbringer.
Unholy uses Apocalypse.
All 3 might use Unending Thirst while Leveling.
Maybe a couple of expansions you might have been right when basically everyone ran Fallen Crusader except for Frost (who ran Razorice and Fallen Crusader) but right now all the runeforges have a place except spellwarding. And hey at least they’re still free.

I use razorice for my frost and sanguination for my blood primarily, although I wondered in TWW if councils guile might have been more of a bonus than rune forging?

What else are they supposed to do with it?
There are only so many options that can get used.

They’re still powerful and they’ve been updated to keep up with scaling levels. I’m not sure what else needs done.
