No because anime is animation from japan. Castlevania was done by an american studio.

How bout an old Filmation style WoW series?
They clearly knew that song is heavily associated with Shrek and sending us a message that He-Man is going to be so brotastic that it will supply us with memes for decades.
An animated warcraft show where they could actually develop the characters would potentially be really awesome.
Problem is unless Metzen has any part it in, I highly doubt it’d be successful, because the current wow writers are trash.

I wouldn’t mind a nice adult-oriented animated WoW series. By that, I mean something in the style and tone of Castlevania or Invincible, etc.

I can’t get passed the weird grunts and moans they do. I remember playing FF13 for the first time. Made me put the series down and realize it just wasn’t for me anymore.

Anime is defined officially as a specific style of Japanese animation that features vibrant colors and characters. It does not have to be produced in Japan to be considered an anime, but does have to meet an art-style and color palette definition to be called an anime. (It’s not about the content, but about the art-style.)
Whereas Cartoons are animations that are intended from the start to be exaggerations and caricatures.
They can be aimed at kids, or adults, or both.
Castlevania would be an adult oriented animation, but not strictly an anime due to the character and color style; as would something like Ghost in the Shell, Berserk, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, etc. etc.
These would be considered Animations, but not anime. GitS, Berserk, LotGH, Macross/Robotech etc. are considered by many to be Animes, but due to their art-style are actually Animations and not animes. Though many people consider animations and anime to be synonymous there is a difference in the actual definitions. But… not very many people care and just throw the label “Anime” on anything Animated that looks like it comes from Japan. shrug.gif.
Naruto would be an anime, as would Gate, or Girls und Panzer, or Konasuba, or Fairy Tail, or Avatar the Last Airbender.
Bugs Bunny and similar characters would be considered Cartoons, as they are exaggeration and caricatures.
