We don’t want Woke Taivan - we want Awoken Taivan!

i didn’t ignore these achievements and requirements throughout the expansion - i am merely providing feedback that the DF meta requirements are not fun or enjoyable to do.
i didn’t have fun grinding mobs in time rifts for soridormi rep.
i didn’t have fun grinding tuskar tackleboxes for ominous conches.
i didn’t have fun grinding 3200 mobs for storm chaser.
i didnt have fun grinding hundreds of mobs for 50 scrolls in the forbidden reach.
(that’s not even counting the librarian achieve in forbidden reach where some players have commented on wowhead that one of the books took them seven months to find - when opening vaults weekly on multiple characters)
have a lovely day, my wonderful friend ![]()
And the way that wowhead collects their data very frequently skews the drop rates of items.
Unshrink Taivan
Give Worgen Tails
Which ones, though? Plenty of other achievements that weren’t included. I got Ohn’aran Trail a long time ago, but it wasn’t part of the meta.
Why?
No reason.
Why are you so hung up on achievements not being added? Just because some achievements were added over others doesn’t mean you couldn’t be working on this from the start of the expansion.
You make a decision based on the information available to you. Some of it will pay off, some of it will not. Would you like us to ask Blizzard to just delete every achievement that doesn’t become part of an expansion meta because Brewa doesn’t want to do things that don’t offer them a reward?
I’m not. It’s just the big reason why your (and a couple other posters’) high-and-mighty “you should have KNOWN” line is crap.
Known what? How was ANYONE supposed to know which achievements Blizzard would randomly include?
How was ANYONE supposed to know which achievements Blizzard would randomly - and retroactively - nerf?
Or make harder?
What I would like, is for the cataloging world quest that has Nat Pagle to actually show up once in a blue moon.
You’re really salty about doing seething cache, huh
Players wanted a return to Vanilla WoW and what is more Vanilla than stupid easy and pointless grinds?
I agree the achievement sucks. Shadowlands was, no cap, a way better expansion. I’ll be glad when it’s done and I finish my stuff for S4 and can just let this expansion fly off into the void.
Edit - Even the legendary axe questline was atrocious and needlessly grindy. The only part that was even semi interesting was the scenario at the end, but even that was easy. I think it should’ve been class or even spec-specific at the very least.
Mostly because I’m quite certain they only removed it because a streamer complained to them in private.
No they didn’t.
If they did, Blizzard wouldn’t need to gussy up classic with new garbage every couple months just to keep people playing it.
So out of curiosity, what do you enjoy doing when you play this game? Because you’ve basically just described the open world content of this game, and said you hated it.
rated pvp, mythic plus and raiding.
If you played the game, you would have had most of this done.
Meanwhile, you’re free to look at my achievments and see that I’ve been doing them gradually over the course of the expansion.
Except the Nat Pagle cataloging quest shows up a fraction as often as the others. I’ve taken pictures of Oculeth dozens of times, but no Nat Pagle.
And I’m not complaining about that, what I’m complaining about is the holier-than-thou attitude of a few people in this thread.
Alas, “most” doesn’t get you anything.
When that Nat Pagle world quest gonna show up? Six months from now?
(And it’s not just me, there’s a TON of people waiting on that quest to spawn.)
We didn’t say we knew which ones, we’re just pointing out you could have worked on it without knowing all the requirements. You make a guess and hope for the best.
We just came to the conclusion that the expansion was offering a lot of world content and decided to work on Meta Achievements related to each new world feature and hoped for the best. I honestly thought the Researchers Under Fire and the Dirt Soup metas would be included and was surprised to see they weren’t.
Some of it paid off for us, some of it didn’t. We made some guesses and were either rewarded for it, or not.
So you’re whining about the open world content portion of an expansion-wide meta? One that’s supposed to prove that you’ve done all the content, not just instanced.
I.
Did.
Blizzard decided to randomly include things that a lot of us have had zero luck on.
Again: Nat Pagle
if you read my posts, you’d know that i already have the A world Awoken achievement done.
i’m providing my feedback that most of the achieves for this meta were un-fun and not enjoyable in the slightest.
the Shadowlands meta was tons of fun, i really enjoyed doing almost all of it.

TL3 - I love you!
Muted and ignored.
