yeah he got caught botting 3x and banned for it, and now is complaining about being banned for “doing nothing wrong”.
Millions of players use add ons on Curseforge and nothing happens to them or their accounts.

This was my understanding too is original story just doesn’t add up
literally not once ever seen someone get malware from an addon.
However i do think some need to be banned, like weak auras, because they hamstring game design
Curse is not the only place from which to get them. They are very easy to code. So technically, you could have any random person who knows how to code give you an addon that is not from a trusted source and that’s where the malware comes from.
