Wholesome story, had a crush on this girl in the last year of primary school and after that year went to seperate schools where we never heard or saw each other ever again.
Skip many years later. Adult now, and was taking a bus back home from tafe and then there was this girl that was walking across the bus port cross way. Our eyes met and she smiled at me, I smiled back but not at her. Didn’t think much on it so I ended up going home and playing WoW. Skip a few days after, doing the same routine and I end up running into this girl again at the same bus port, and we smiled at each other again, I mustered up the courage to talk to her this time.
We got it on pretty well and ended up exchanging numbers before heading off. We became fast friends and found we had similar likes to one another, including World of Warcraft. So I was like “We should play together.” And she was cool with that, so we ended up playing together.
As we were playing in the same room when I brought my laptop over, she suggested that we go get some food and I was about to go out with her to collect it but she looked at me with a coy look, as though she wanted to ask me something, so I asked “What is it?”
She replied: “Have you heard of Zereth Mortis?”
And I was like: “What?” And the roof caved in above us, crushing and killing her instantly.
