We receive the Dungeon Quest but can’t que for it. Why is that? How can we get the weapon? I keep checking if I can que but nope, just random, and no I can’t do the create a group either. Why can’t Blizz just put it back where we can que for specific Dungeons or Random if we want.
Visit Chromie on her hourglass in Stormwind. Pick the Cataclysm timeline. You can then queue for specific classic dungeons.

Last time I looked they were still giving level 7 druids the quest to go to Moonglade to get the class weapon. Of course they don’t get Teleport: Moonglade until level 24 now, Felwood is a level 15 zone, and you can’t enter that dungeon at level 7 even on foot.

I just don’t understand why they did this. What purpose did it serve?
They put Chromie Time in the game when they did the level squish so that alts can level in any expansion, rather than having to go through them roughly in release order.
I wouldn’t worry too much about group/dungeon quests when you’re leveling anyway. If you want the rewards, or to see the story, and are unable to find groups while you’re leveling, you can always just come back when you’ve finished and solo them.
A new druid should always first thing do legion far enough to get the class hall.
