A weird bug?

Hey all!

Just wanted to share something I just experienced. So I’ve been pretty busy today on WoW, moving a bunch of different stuff between alts, and whatnot, and then doing transmog runs(this is important, I promise).

So I have a level 1 rogue that I use with a guild bank to hold all my leather supplies. So I’m on this character a lot today. I log on at some point, after I had done some transmog runs. I see my character is naked. Well, that’s odd. So I look, assuming it’s just an issue with loading. Nope, my character has no BoA gear on. So I check, and my bags are all missing. My bank is empty. However, all the mail the character has from other toons of leather? All in my inbox. I had sent it before this all happened. The guild bank? Still there and has the leather in it.

So I’m sitting there, thinking maybe I got hacked? I have an authenticator, but during my ToS transmog run, I got DCed, and wondered if they had just started to clear my characters? Mind you, I was only off for a few minutes, since the raid leader resetting the instance is what kicked me, or so I thought.

I open a ticket, I change my password, just relieved that at worst, I lost the leather supplies in the bank, inventory and reagent bank. However, I log into the character around 2 hours later, and all the stuff is back. My bags, the bank and reagent bank. My ticket wasn’t opened or updated. I cancelled it, but felt the need to report it, in case anyone else sees the same problem.

Very odd OP. I can’t personally help, but I’ll bump this so you get the attention you need.

This is a long-standing, but uncommon bug. It seems to be triggered by switching between characters. It’s what’s known as a “display bug,” which means that it makes your game client display something incorrect, but it doesn’t impact what’s on Blizzard’s servers.

It usually goes away after a couple of hours. The only problem that would require opening a ticket is if, during the time while your items are “missing,” you put an item into a bag slot that is actually occupied. When your items reappear, it can make one of the items go missing.

If you search in the customer support forums, you can find a post about this every few weeks. It always scares people.

My latest weird bug is running around like statue with my arms at resting and my legs barely move. Like watching a Riverdancer try to run, and it persists for 30 minutes usually.

This does happen it’s lost data to your computer ,either on Blizzard end or internet in your area. If it’s happening during overwatch legion event that’s what happen.I too have problem during these times so watch for it.
