I was thinking of an idea this morning…
I was looking for a craftsman to make me an item, of which I had the materials. Sadly, there weren’t many players so I got no answer.
I would like to see a wall to pin an ad, asking for a craftable item.
There could also be a safe chest to place the materials we have for this item.
If we have all the materials, a craftsman could see the ad and create the item for us.
This would be a win/win : craftsman could level their profession and please someone at the same time.
Maybe we could also ask for disenchant and place the item(s) there.
To push the idea further, there could also be some options if materials are missing, like :
- Offer a service in exchange (like a run of a dungeon ; we could specify the ones we’re able to do)
- Offer an item in exchange (we could offer items or list our own profession)
- Add money to compensate
To help assure that both players respect the contract, the craftsman could start by making the item, wich is secured in the system for a period of time (say 3 days for example).
Then the player have this 3 days to do the task/item in exchange.
If the player can’t do is task, the item is undone and both player and craftsman recover their materials.
If the craftsman would like a run of a dungeon for an alt, there should be a way to set a playing time, send him a quest and match both players in this dungeon.
Maybe it’s a bit complicated but it’s just an idea.
The goal is to serve two people without involving big money.
