Hello. I’m Drujitsu and I am the Guild Manager for Velocity, an Alliance guild that caters to all, with a Primary Focus on High-Eenergy Cutting-Edge Progression Raiding, in support of the guild’s name and mission: VELOCITY!
We are recruiting new and returning players with a minimum of 4200 gear score to participate in crushing victories of all Ulduar boss encounters.
Val’anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings, has already been determined and assigned to the first 2 of our current raid healers.
Expectations:
- Good Attendance - Sign up on our Discord sheet. Please arrive 15 mins before raid start/pull time. 1 hour notice if you can’t make it so we have time to secure a replacement.
- Excellent Team Spirit and Attitude - encourage others to reach maximum potential. Constructive criticism and insights should be framed in a motivational manner.
- Team Focus - Be prepared to pass loot to a team member where it may best befit for the raid team vs personal gain. Decisions are crafted among the raid team members.
- Performance - We are looking for members who perform beyond expectations and aim for personal bests raid over raid. Our members are very competitive across the classes. Can you capture the reigns of leadership and be the highest performer in your role? Aim for it every time!
We offer attainable Raider Ranks based on attendance, performance, and attitude in 3 ranks: Bronze Raider, Silver Raider, and the Coveted GOLD Raider Rank, with each rewarding higher guild repair allowances and guild vault access.
We also offer FREE Top-End enchants to our Gold Raiders as a reward for their efforts in earning this exclusive rank. Lower ranks get substantial discounts of 50% off current AH prices.
We want our members to be the best and have the best, and we endure to help maintain that level of status and investment in our raiding members.
We also run raids on other nights (almost every night!). See our Discord section for signups and apply. Priority seating in raids are first come first served, meeting raid criteria and eligibility.
Loot: Typically MS>OS>DE with a ‘modified Suicide Kings’ aspect in that once you get loot, you will be expected to pass on further loot drops to others unless others pass or are in the same situation as yourself for a rolloff. This is to help spread the loot around as there will always be people leaving the raid with no loot and that’s not fun, so we try our best to get a piece to everyone who has an opportunity for it. Exceptions are made for allowance to BiS items, and it helps to not equip loot until the raid ends so you can possibly trade it to someone else in case a better item drops for you later in the raid.
Also, looking to make partnerships with smaller guild teams who’d like to participate cooperatively in our raid schedule with no desire or pressure to change guilds.
