So, I’m running my dailies on the Tauren Druid. Someone drops that toy that lets you change your appearance at random. decided to walk through it and got Worgen. Funnily enough I play Feral on my Druid so instead of Cat, I was in Worgen form. Kind of got the gears turning in my empty skull.
Now this would only affect Worgen Druids so sorry other Worgen classes but what if Worgen get the option to stay in their Worgen form for Guardian/Feral forms? Like a racial or something you could toggle or asking a Druid trainer “Hey can I stay in my Pack form?” Then either rework or make new animations for Worgens to make use of that.

As cool as it would be, Blizzard probably would not make the Worgen form so wildly unique that you couldn’t tell what it was from a glance. It might create issues during gameplay for some players telling whether or not a Worgen druid is in cat form or not.
That being said, bring back Shirvallah form.

Blizzard’s response: “People are too dumb to know what that would be in PvP, so we can’t.”
Worgen druids should have had wolf forms. Large, dire wolf for Guardian, smaller thin wolf for Feral.
Yes please and thank you.

Yea, you’re probably right. I just kind of stumbled across it and thought “Huh, that’d be kind of cool.” Maybe even satisfy those who want their Worgen to attack with fangs and claws like proper Werewolves. Perhaps bring the Worgen form into a more positive light for Gilneans. Like they’ve been living with the Worgen curse for a long time now and know how to balance the Rage of Goldrinn with their daily lives.
Maybe something for the shamans? I think Goldrinn has favored them more than druids.

edit: Makes me realize a great excuse for Worgen shaman.
So just playing a class other than Druid.

As a druid who likes to play with goofy toys, I can tell you that if you get turned into a Worgen and use some attacks in cat form (maybe bear too?), your body will do awful contorting and twisting with certain spells. Like your torso will flip all the way under your legs like youre trying to do a flip but your legs didnt get the memo…
So uh. Lol. Maybe a little fixing is in order before they try anything of the sort.
I suppose this issue could shed some light on why there is no longer a Claws of Biped-kitty any more though.

This argument made sense before we could all transmog to jesters and magical girls with candy cane swords.

My biggest regret from Vanilla, is not keeping Thekal’s Grasp/Arlokk’s Grasp items that would turn you into the tiger boss.
I farmed it enough to get the mount, I know I must’ve had the claws, just never kept them for some odd reason. I guess I assumed they’d be in the game forever.
It was pretty hilarious on Hunters because when it procc’d, you turned into a giant tiger-man shooting a bow/gun, lol.
Not the same thing. It has nothing to do with “silliness” and more to do with visual clarity.
If you see a worgen running around in full gear with an energy bar. Is that a rogue or a druid? You don’t know, because it could be a worgen in cat form.
It is the same thing. Someone running around in the jester transmog with candy cane swords could be visually mistaken for a dozen different specs.
Hindsight’s a wonderful thing isn’t it? Got me more times then I wish to admit.
Difference is Feral Worgen Druid would be going at enemies with fang and claw rather then sword and board. Nice try though.

Technically, no, it would be a staff or polearm. Monks, however…
