The Park holds some of my fondest RP memories in it especially the tavern that was there. Can’t wait to be able to see it again!

Two taverns. Neither with npcs. Hoping to see players working together to build a fine environment for players to walk into. At the same time it wouldn’t be Classic without a weekly argument and shoot out about who owns and operates the property rightly. And infernals setting things on fire. And random bomber cultists. And that one trade chat troll who never leaves the tavern, but actually rps and doesn’t mess with you (mostly) until you invade his space. Good times.

I discovered last week during raid night that I still have a macro I used to use to advertise running a tavern back in BC or WotLK. I can tell it’s that old because it mentions the tavern in the Park.

A simpler time.

I am gonna laugh at seeing all these people so eager to get into empty taverns and brawling for the right to make it ‘their’ tavern, only for raid groups of Hordies looking for a decent tavern coming in to roll everyone …

This is gonna be equal parts hilarious and tragic.

But yeah, seeing the Park back will bring some bitter-sweet memories for me. Had some good times there, had some absolutely barbaric encounters there as well, so it is gonna be interesting to see just how long the fun times last before the lack of QoL in the game starts turning folks homicidal.

But we do not have a park. we have a giant fancy memorial to Varian which NPC Kaldorei hang around in like awkward hobos.

…Mind you all Kaldorei are now hobos in Stormwind, of course. :cold_sweat:
