The Shadow Vault is a neutral Knights of the Ebon Blade RP guild established in 2011. We love death knights and everything related, and are always looking for more friends!
Our goals (IC):
● To execute the orders of Ebon Blade leadership (Bolvar, Darion, the NPC Deathlord, etc.)
● To continue to purge Azeroth of the restless remnants of the Scourge and the Cult of the Damned.
● To maintain diplomatic relations between the Knights of the Ebon Blade and the Alliance and Horde.
We try our best to represent the Ebon Blade as a neutral organization. We don’t set out to do good, and we don’t set out to do evil. We aid our allies, and don’t cause trouble for them unless the threat to our ties is worth it.
Our goals (OOC):
● To provide a friendly home for death knight roleplayers.
● To function as a reliable, neutral Ebon Blade presence for others to refer to when they need contact with the faction.
● To create and foster roleplay on Wyrmrest Accord related to DKs, the Scourge, the Cult of the Damned, etc.
● To provide assistance for new and leveling Death Knights with questing, dungeons, and learning the class.
Not just Death Knights!
This is not a class-restricted guild! We welcome any living characters who have an interest in associating with the Knights of the Ebon Blade: surviving family members, diplomats, researchers, historians-- any curious minds who can stand the smell. 
In addition to living allies, we also welcome ‘lesser’ undead. Banshees, ghouls, geists, anything that might be allied with the Ebon Blade.
We also house Cult of the Damned characters, who are enemies IC, but friends OOC. These cultists easily fit into our plots as adversaries. In the past, we’ve also had imprisoned cultists forced to work for us, which offers another avenue for ‘legal’ villains.
Casual PvE
We also do normal/Heroic raiding and mythic+ dungeons). Our goal is to enjoy raid time as a stress-free social activity for the guild to do something together outside of RP. We endeavor to obtain AotC every tier and have been successful since we started raiding in Hellfire Citadel. Sometimes, we also do the easiest Mythic bosses if we have enough people.
What to expect:
● Unscheduled Mythic+ groups forming throughout the week
● Progression 1 night a week (Saturday 5-8 PM ST).
● Optional fun/pug night for easier raid content (e.g. Normal) on Fridays at 5 PM ST.
Miscellaneous notes:
● This is not a military guild. (Our focus is character development).
● The guild is an OOC construct. We aren’t ICly a group called ‘The Shadow Vault’. We just represent some of the Knights of the Ebon Blade who happen to be stationed there.
● There is no OOC hierarchy; all ranks are equal and have equal permissions. We’re a relatively small niche interest guild and this has worked well for us all this time.
● In the guild’s infancy, we strove to set ourselves apart from the poor reputation that DK RP had at the time. To date, we are strict about some controversial tropes and behaviors: No pregnant death knights, no child death knights. In major cities, we are guests, and we don’t randomly start fights or harass civilians. This sort of thing aside, we’re very open to creativity. It’s a zombie spaceship magic world anyway.
● We don’t tolerate members trolling or harassing anyone else on the server.
● There is no age restriction but we happen to mostly be adults. Most of us work during the day and activity is highest at night EST.
● As a medium RP guild, all event attendance is optional.
