The character I logged into first for the Mop Classic patch yesterday while the quest text was bugged is not being credited for valor earned. I have done all of the steps properly and am tracking my progress through the achievement. I have earned more than 1600 valor and have nothing to show for it.
The quest and achievement text have since been updated and I am still not able to see my progress or hand in the quest.
I am able to see this properly on other characters - no it is not an addon issue.
Addons have been disabled.

The issue occurs on my character Lunaeya on Arugal - but seems to work on my other characters.

Hm. Something I’m noticing is that you disconnected about a minute or two after accepting the quest. The achievement doesn’t start counting until you accept the quest, and I’m wondering if that disconnect caused a rollback that removed the achievement criteria from your account so that Valor earned from then on wouldn’t count.
I played with this a bit, and I managed to resolve it internally by abandoning A Test of Valor and restarting it. Can you try that please?
Unfortunately, I cannot grant achievement progress; that is not within my ability.

Having the exact same issue. Grabbed the quest yesterday, did a few dungeons, did a few quests, still no progress on the achievement.

Update: Abandoning and starting the quest again does work. Still would like this fixed, as I definitely wasted about 1k VP on this before I realized I wasn’t getting credit.
So, idk how it worked for y’all but you just need to have 1600 VP in your currency i just finished the quest. I was a bit confused too since it doesnt show it being progressed. The way the quest works is a little bit weird tbh but you just neeed to make 1600 VP without spending it which is kinda messed up since everyone is spending VP to upgrade their gear atm.
I accepted the quest then started grinding dungeons. The hotfix went through and I finished grinding dungeons. Quest not showing completed. I’ve earned 1600 Valor. Abandoned the quest, picked it back up. Quest not showing completed. I earned valor only through quests and celestial dungeons. maybe world bosses, I forget if they drop some. Do I just have to wait for the next reset while other people can get this portion finished?
Same issue here. We were getting DC’d every few minutes that first night so it’s quite possible that I’m in the same boat. This really sucks. But yeah I was 0/1600 for the week valor at the time I accepted the quest then did celestials until capped. Achievement progress shows “0”. I guess we’re all a week behind now.

I’m having the same issue 0/1600 even tho I have earned over 2000 with dungeons and quests on multiple toons I even leveled a new toon up went through the quest chain after the hotfix but still no progress and have purchased zero valor with the vendors, I submitted a ticket but blizzard just explained the hotfix like I couldn’t comprehend the fact they changed the total amount needed and that was my issue not the fact I’m getting zero progress for the achievement. Iv done everything I can think of deleted and restarted quest tried different toons done quests and dungeons both heroic and celestial but still zero without being capped on valor.
Needing the achievement for the cloak so will I just never get that this xpack?

Same issue here. Wasnt showing progress last week 0/3000 THEN 0/1600, started again today with a few dailies as the quest says, and still no progress. Do I drop the quest and would now be forced to wait until next week to start again (to earn all 1600 since I already earned my 30 from dailies), or take my chances and keep going?
You risk nothing by abandoning the quest, since the progress is tracked by the achievement. Better to abandon and pick back up if you’re not gaining progress on the achievement.

On Pagle, I’m still experiencing disconnects (mostly in Shrine) and I’m not getting credit for valor when turning in quests. I’ve deleted my WTF folder, disabled all my add-ons, abandoned the quest and re-accepted it, and turned in a quest for valor and still no credit on the valor.
I submitted a ticket in game but still haven’t heard back.
Abandoned and grabbed it again and still nothing is counting towards the achievement progress.

Any news as to if this will ever get fixed? Doesn’t seem it’s even acknowledged at this point in time. Opening tickets doesn’t help neither, we are sent to report it to the forums. Quite an impactful one since it’s directly linked to the legendary quest.
Hi I have the issue of not getting valor counted for this quest. I have dropped the quest than picked it up again. plz help

I hope everyone can see this it does not count your valor you must do that yourself it must be from dungeon or daily quest.
