History:
I have been playing WoW for 15 years and have been playing Classic since day 1. I am a PvE player, I may dabble in PvP but that is typically only battlegrounds on my own time. For the vast majority of this time I have played a pally tank, however I have been proficient at other classes too.
Schedule:
I am looking for a guild that raids only ONE to TWO times a week.
I prefer early evening raid times (At or after 6:00pm Server Time) that have a duration of two to three hours not including the half-hour-invite-and-group-assembly time. There is room to discuss this.
NOTE: Sadly, I - like everyone else in this game - have aged 15 years since WotLK first launched and I am no longer in high school with all the time in the world, I am an adult with a career and responsibilities. With that said, I can safely commit to a minimum of ONE day a week and a maximum of TWO days a week. (If there are more raids scheduled then I consider them to be optional with no required attendance).
Availability:
I am generally open every day except Tuesdays.
I would prefer to raid on weekdays as it will not conflict with a side job, however there is room to discuss this.
I work 24-hour-rotating shifts in a â1 day on, 1 day off, 1 day on, 5 days offâ pattern with an additional work day thrown in there once a month; rotating on an 8 week schedule.
Example: if we raid Mondays and Wednesdays, I will be able to make every raid every week for five weeks of the eight and then for two of those weeks I will miss one raid that week and then there will be one week of the eight that I miss both raids.
What Toons Can I Play?:
I am willing to âmainâ any one of the below toons; tell me what you need / want.
(I proficiently played all of the below toons back in original WotLK and anticipate doing so again in WotLK: Classic)
I have a:
-Protection Paladin (TANK)
-Discipline Priest (Healer)
-Elemental Shaman (rDPS)
I will have a:
-Protection Warrior (TANK)
-Frost (DPS) Death Knight (mDPS)
Guild Type:
-I am looking for something Semi-hardcore.
-What this means is that when inside the instance we are there to do a raid. People show up with food, flasks, other consumes as needed, and are ready to go. There is a priority on fun but the raid is not the place to screw around.
Raid Type (10 man or 25 man)?:
-Frankly, I do not really care.
-If running a 25 man raid comp, we need a 30-32 person roster because not everyone can be there every week, and people are rotated in and out on a weekly basis in accordance with their availability and attendance.
-If running a 10 man raid comp, we need a 15-17 person roster for the same reason.
-Back in the day the 10 mans were often considered to be harder because 1 person dies and that is 10% of the raid vs. 2-1/2 people needing to die for the same 10% in a 25 man (Hunter / warlock pet = the half ). But again, I do not care whether we do 10 or 25 man content.
Raid Difficulty
-Naxxramas is plain and simple: 10 or 25.
-Ulduar has the above plus âHard modesâ.
-ToC & ICC has 10 or 25 plus 10 Heroic and 25 heroic.
Here is where the Semi-hardcore comes into play with me:
Can we down the bosses? No? Ok, lets work and make attempts over time to progress until we get it.
Can we now down the bosses without difficulty? Yes? GREAT!
Do we then want to TRY Hard modes / Heroic difficulties?
Sure, I am up for it.
But those difficulties are NOT my main concern. I am first and foremost here to have fun. Anything that compromises that or turns this game into another job is not for me.

Thank you for your consideration
I hope to hear from someone.
It may take me a couple days to respondâŚbut I WILL respond.
