A small question about Exile's Reach

This may or may not be a dumb question that was explained once upon a time, but what happens when you race change on Exile’s Reach?

Like, say, a hunter wanted both the Horde AND Alliance exclusive wolves from the questlines on Exile’s Reach. Would they be able to tame it on one side, race change, then tame the other on the opposite faction, or would it expel you from Exile’s Reach after race changing?

It’s most definitely a waste of money to do so, but it’s a question I’ve been curious about since I found out about the exclusive hunter pets for each faction.

I’m not sure about race changes (blizzard support articles appear to be down right now so I can’t check those) but I know that you can’t faction change characters if they are in Exile’s Reach. (The same applies to the Worgen, Goblin, Dracthyr, and Demon Hunter starting zones.)

Faction Change Effects

You cannot faction change a character that isn’t at least level 10. In addition:

• Demon Hunter and Dracthyr characters must have completed their starting zone quest lines.
• Worgen characters must have left Gilneas and Goblin characters must have left Kezan.
• Any character that starts at Exile’s Reach must have left Exile’s Reach.

Ah, I see. I was just curious. As a collector of hunter pets, I wanted confirmation that this was a lost cause 100%. I was fairly certain this was the case, but I decided to pose the question anyway. Thanks!
