So to earn the achievement, you need to “Defeat Orgozoa in the Hatchery in The Eternal Palace after incubating a baby Zoatroid on Normal Difficulty or higher.” The tooltip tells us nothing whatsoever as to how to complete the achievement. You have to go to wowhead to learn HOW to do the achievement, and actually doing it is insanely hard.
As soon as the boss goes into intermission, someone needs to stand at a very specific spot outside the gate. A green thing falls from the ceiling very quickly, and the person standing at the spot catches it, slowing them by 30%. The person then needs to go through the gauntlet as normal, then get the debuff “Incubation Fluid,” and then the egg will hatch and you can kill the boss.
That’s how the achievement is SUPPOSED to be done. When attempting it, I was the designated egg carrier as a shaman, since in ghost wolf i get constant 20% DR and can’t be slowed below 100% MS. Slight issue: So many things will remove the debuff you get from catching the egg. Casting ANY spell. Getting any kind of cc on you (the raid needs to keep the witch interrupted). ANY kind of proc. That includes lava surge, which means I couldn’t have flame shock on the boss and carry the egg, that includes any procs from Azerite Armor, including defensive ones such as Resounding Protection. It includes weapon enchants, any proc you can think of. So I removed all of my azerite armor, weapon, and trinkets. My entire job was to not die and carry the egg. The next hurdle was getting the Incubation Fluid debuff in the second phase. The only way to get this debuff is to either stand on someone with the debuff during Arcing Current, or the boss will apply it to random members of the raid at certain times. The issue is, Arcing Current will remove the egg debuff, so the ONLY way to get incubation fluid without breaking the egg is to hope for RNG to be on your side and the boss targets you with the debuff.
If anyone has the achievement please answer me: HOW??? Is there something huge we were missing? Is it just bugged, maybe? it does seem odd that Arcing Current removed the egg debuff.
